Chapter - 29 When It Rains, It Pours

Ferdinand's Point Of View

"Kaleb... Are you going to be okay?" Tristan asked.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I want to ride the rides... all of them..." He replied.

His face was a bit flushed and his breathing was stilted but he seemed eager to ride.

"I said, Next!" The ride attendant yelled again.

"We heard you, Thank you! If you were a bit more attentive, then you'd know that there are more important things going on than your stupid ride. And if anyone would like to go ahead of us they are more than welcome to do so!" Sylvester yelled, looking back at the crowd around us.

At that, the attendant audibly gulped, and no one moved an inch. It probably didn't help that his eyes were flickering violently, but that wasn't my concern. We had turned around for less than a minute trying to determine who would ride with Tristan this time.
