History & The Gate

There were several clearly African girls from possibly the regions closer to the Congo as well as those from the Egyptian royal family based upon the Egyptian like clothes they wore which was similar to what I, Akila and Ankha wear.

But as nobody was familiar with each other and most people here already having bad impressions of humans due to our history taught by our parents, there was a clear divide between us and them.

Some were my age while others were older for both the Beastmen and the humans alike but as that wasn't an issue that I needed to deal with I made my way to my homeroom class that the three of us shared together before we took our desks while everyone else was getting to know each other.

There were two main classes per year that divided the clans, the North and Eastern Clans were in one class while the South and Western Class were in another, but this class basically had a bunch of people I already knew and grew up with as most that were in my class were those that appeared at my 5th birthday party.

"Ah! Darius! I knew we'd be in the same class!" Liona said happily as she waved at me.

Liona, Aurelia, Bahati, Kitan, Nubia, Zuri, Shahina and Thema along with several others were within my class along with one of the Egyptian Princesses and two other African tribal girls were all in my class.

Soon enough everyone was talking with each other, though two groups formed as a result, those that knew me and were Beastmen, and another group that was just the humans.

But as I was much older mentally than everyone here, I knew this would pose a divide in our class if this continued so after telling the others I'd be back I went over to the smaller group with the three girls talking to each other, though seeing me approach made them become quiet as a result.

"Hi! I'm Darius, I was a bit surprised some humans could come to our school, but it's nice we have you here, so could you tell me your names?" I said trying to come off as friendly as possible for them.

Seeing this, they were a bit surprised that I wasn't verbally attacking them as they knew that most Beastmen in the Saharan Confederation had bad impressions of all humans, "Umm, I'm Amira, 5th daughter of the Queen of Egypt, and these two are Terema and Zendaya from Sudan." The princess said while introducing the two others.

I wanted to talk more but the bell rang, "Well it's nice knowing you three, I hope we can become friends." I say to them, hopefully we will all be getting along with them in the future.

Soon enough homeroom started with us getting to know each other by telling our names, our tribes and where we came from, that sort of thing.

And after that we learned that our homeroom teacher, Ms. Ralsei, would be our teacher for all of our classes and she would be our teacher not just for our first year but for the rest of the years we go here to the Academy, same for all the other classes in our year and same for all of our upper classmen have had the same teacher since their first years as well.

And with that said classes began and school was like any other school, reading, writing, math, physical education, science and history.

Most of this stuff I already knew so I had no troubles with getting good grades in all of those classes with the only troublesome one being history class as many things were completely different from my world.

There were no World Wars in this world but there were Two Great Wars that happened around 1000 years ago and another 500 years ago.

The one five hundred years ago I knew most of and that was the attempted culling of all Beastmen and Demihumans from the planet by the humans which backfired severely and caused the Male Killer Virus, MKV, to affect all men across the world.

Before the virus the three genders of men, women and Futa's was roughly 40% men, 30% women and 30% Futa's.

But when the Virus began to rapidly kill off men in the beginning at a staggering rate, Futa's were the ones who had to proliferate the populations of humanity and the Beastmen/Demihumans in place of the rapidly decreasing male population.

But with how virulent the Futa's were they were able to compensate easily for the lost of all men but now 74% of the world population is Futa's, 25% is women and only 1% is males world wide as a result.

Then there was the war on Runala, the new continent that appeared a thousand years ago in the region of the Pacfic Ocean over the area where Point Nemo is located.

The continent is a nearly perfect circle for its shape and from what we know was that the continent was somehow transported from the world that all demons resided within before they tried to take over the world but it was at this time Hero's from all across the world came together to fight off the demons and within a few short years the war ended with their king being slain and most of the demons either dying at the blades of the hero's or outright surrendered.

Though the other major powers of the world at the time knew that not all of them desired for this invasion and thus the hero's agreed to not destroy the entire demon race but it wouldn't be until roughly 200 years ago that the other continents of the world would allow demons to leave their continent and go to other places of the world.

But most are still not accepted widely by the rest of the world with only Australia, Europe, North America and South America allowing them to become residents in their countries, it's also why Roxy and Nyx were enslaved, not because they did anything wrong but because they were both demons and unlawfully trespassing in Confederation Territory.

Though there were plenty more things I would learn later down the road but those were some rather major and drastic differences in history from what I could tell.

Though a huge one is that Beastmen and Demihumans predate humanity by millions of years and another big one is that the Dinosaurs never went extinct and the Primal Lizardmen Tribes across the world are the descendants of the Dinosaurs themselves, which wasn't to surprising as Eyon and Criya looked less like Lizards and more like T-Rex's to me but that's probably because they have more dinosaur dna in them to look like dinosaurs themselves.

But soon the day went and passed and the first day of school ended and I would go onto learn various things about this world over the years.

And three years later, after I had became 10 along with a three month break the school had for summer as June through August were the hottest months in the Sahara so school was always out during those months.

In these three years I made everyone in my class get along with Amira, Terema and Zendaya so everyone was at least friends with one another though I knew the girls as well as me will go through Puberty soon enough and they would most likely begin to show an interest in me along with most of their parents wanting to connect to my clan through marriage in the future of course.

But as I was contemplating what I should do for this summer my status board appeared before me with a notification.

I saw that and I saw the button to use the gate was lit up before another message appeared and it was directed to me specifically.

"The Goddess?" I couldn't help but say as I began to read the message from her on this Gate and what it could do for me to increase my strengths.

After all this would later be the reason I was able to Rise and become the Hero King of The Saharan Dunes.
