Thank you all for your kind wishes. I've decided to take an extra day to recover fully, but uploads will resume today. Thankfully, I didn't sustain any serious injuries in the accident, but the shock still lingers, affecting my well-being. I'll be releasing a chapter each day as I regain my strength.

As for the driver involved, he was intoxicated. A certified idiot that endangered his own family(a wife and a very young daughter, she looked like she was about 6 years old) and others.

But, I chose not to press charges.

The little girl was devastated, and I could see the fear in her eyes. That moment shaped my decision. I wasn't hurt, and her father, along with his wife, begged for forgiveness while their daughter cried uncontrollably. Pressing charges might have left a scar on her heart that could take years to heal. I just couldn't bring myself to do that to a child.

Life is fragile, and the choices we make ripple far beyond ourselves. I hope you guys can bring yourselves to forgive if given the chance one day.

I have no enemies lol.
