Tarot Club : Proposition.

Given the denial, everyone almost immediately connected Snape's dream with a True God.

Each one of them had their own delusions with Mr. Devil being the closest since he simply knew that most other True Gods didn't like his master and they all sought to kill him.

But even he didn't know the enormity of the matter.

But what was common among them all was that each one of them was amazed at Mr. Moon for being able to come in direct contact with his True God, even though it was only a dream.

Fleur who had only ever been singled out by her Goddess by her rejecting to speak with her or respond to her rituals felt a strange sense of unease as she glanced at her seatmate.

Loki looked at Snape whose aura was swimming with disappointment and gently rapped his fingers on the edge of the table.

Everyone noticed this and turned to look at what Mr. Error had to say.

Once everyone was paying attention to him, Loki finally spoke solemnly.

"Don't think about these matters beyond the boundaries of the Tarot Gathering."

Everyone's eyes widened slightly while Hermione began cursing herself.

'Why did you even tell it to us Mr. Moon!!!!???'

'Did I need to hear this!?'

'Couldn't you have just requested a private room as Mr. World did with Mr. Devil for their transaction!?'

It wasn't just Hermione who was cursing Snape but everyone else too. And being the star of the show, Sirius cursed out loud.

But instead of talking directly to Snape, he spoke to Mr. World instead.

"Thank you for showing us that method that allows us to keep our affairs private Mr. World…If you hadn't we would've never realised that we could do such a thing! How could we have ever guessed!?!?!? Oh god! Forbid my smooth brain from being able to think such divine thoughts!! I hope my brain is not filled with such divinity ever again!!! I would never be able to handle it!!!!"

Loki nearly *snorted* because he was holding back his laughter as he tried his best to interrupt Sirius's rants. It was especially funny to him because he knew Snape and Sirius hated each other's guts.

After a few seconds, however, when everyone started getting bored of Sirius's insults, Mr. World interrupted with an offer.

"I have a proposition to make-"

"-I hope your proposition isn't going to fill me with the divine grace of a True God, Mr. World? Perhaps you'll have to save me next? Like a damsel in distress!? Oh! My dear hero!! Mr. World!!! My world!!! Don't let the gods interfere with our lives!!! Oh noooooooo!!!!" Sirius interrupted and Loki barely managed to stop himself from laughing.

Everyone else was quivering lightly while stealing glances in Mr. Moon's direction.

Snape found this unbearable and hence spoke with slight annoyance in his tone.

"This tomfoolery isn't what is needed here. Matters beyond life and death of a simpleton like yours are being discus-"

"Oh!!! Boooo hoooo!!!! How will I ever save myself from the assaults of a ruthless man who is trying to impale me with knowledge that I should never have learnt to begin with!!?? This barbarian!!! He's trying to spear me with the romance of a forbidden love!!!! How can I save myself from this smooth-brained troll!!!?? Oh lord mercy have me you!!!"

Loki was dumbfounded at Sirius's bravery to act like this in front of a 'True' God. But since he didn't want to seem bothered by such 'silly' matters, he said nothing directly. Instead, he spoke as Mr. World.

"Thank you for those…detailed…dramatisations, Mr. Star. I'm sure you would love to be an actor one day. Aren't we all actors? Trying to pretend our madness does not exist? Either way…*ahem* *ahem* as I was saying-"

"-I have a proposition for everyone here to offer. At least for those that have True Gods in their pathways here."

Mr. World's words got everyone's attention and they all quietened down.

"I would like it if it were possible for you all to arrange a request for me to meet the True Gods of your respective pathways. Of course, the payment for being able to secure this will be immense. I can reward each of you with about seven thousand galleons for this, along with the promise of several high-tier Mystical Items for free as long as you provide me with the required materials."

Like everyone else, Fleur was immediately interested and she frowned a little before speaking up first.

"Izn't zthat's too little for a meeting?"

Mr. World looked at Fleur and shook his head.

"Not as long as you tell them I am Mr. Error's blessed."

But that was when Mr. Devil spoke up.

"I can give you a ritual to communicate with the True Goddess of my pathway right now if you want. It will be immediate and you will get a direct response one hundred per cent of the time."

Although Loki knew Mr. Devil was just talking about Mother Tree of Desire, he didn't dismiss him.

He had a simple reason.

If he collected a highly valued ritual that connected to 'Her', wouldn't he be able to use it to do some harm to her at some point?

'After all, I'm Mr. Error…'

"Oh? And what would you like for it?" Mr. World asked, leaning in Mr. Devil's direction.

"I would like you to give me the item that can cause mental interferences for no price."

Although no one else noticed, Loki did see that Snape was in a soft sense of confusion and turmoil.

'He's worried about Mr. Devil going against someone as a spectator?'

'Why?'

'Wouldn't such a crime be easy to identity?'

'Since the only spectator around 'Adam'?'

'What is Mr. Devil even going to do with such an item? Give him a good back scratching to the authorities? I doubt he's even capable of that much…'

'There's a vast difference between a simple Mystical item and an angel that can think reality into existence.'

'....unless he uses it to brainwash and gather people for the next few months during which time he hides them to perform one grand ritual to gain power because of their sacrifices? Or sacrifice them to 'Her'?'

'....I don't get that vibe from Mr. Devil…'

'He's eager to do something big….but he comes off as naive…almost like a poser.'

Mr. World pretended to think for a while before he spoke softly, "I can do it. But you'll have to give me the Beyodner Characteristics of the Spectator Pathway. Otherwise, it'll be extremely difficult to get what you want without alerting the wrong people that I'm sure neither of us wants to offend."

Mr. Devil paused at this for a few seconds before pinching his chin as he spoke with a feverish grin.

"I would love to do that. It will take me some time to gather the Beyonder Characteristics, but I can get it in a few days time."

Loki's brows quivered, but since everyone was looking at Mr. World everyone missed it.

'Seriously!? A few days? For the Beyodner Characteristics of a pathway that no one has any idea about and is considered mostly extinct?'

'....I guess Harry's villain has some stored and hidden away?'

'How convenient.'
