Stepping into the Slytherin common room as soon as the classes ended, Loki found himself surrounded by several third-year Slytherin students.
Well, not exactly several, but just Draco and his gang of bootlickers.
"How're you feeling Loki? Pissed your pants yet? Need someone helping you to enter and exit the castle eh?" Zabini asked with a smirk as he looked at Loki with a degrading gaze.
Loki tried to push himself through, but he was blocked by Zabini moving to stand across from him.
"Leave me alone, Draco.", Loki said looking into Draco's eyes coldly, enough to send shivers down his spine.
Draco almost took a step back, but seeing how his friends surrounded him, a little bit of courage seeped into his mind.
"What are you going to do otherwise? Lie down and crawl to a professor?" Draco taunted, causing all his friends to laugh.
The common room had gotten silent and everyone looked in Loki's direction.
Loki's eyebrows rose and he looked at Draco with surprise.
Catching Loki's silence as a show of weakness, Draco stepped forward and stabbed his finger into Loki's chest.
"Ha! What're you gonna do Loki? Shiver in your boots?"
Loki remained silent as his eyes scanned through the entire group.
*BANG*
Before anyone could react, a loud noise caught everyone off guard.
The crowd around him parted as everyone instantly took a step back allowing others in the common room to peer through the gaps and see what was going on.
"Ahhhh!!!!" Draco screamed in pain as Loki held his shoulder behind his back and continued to apply pressure on it.
"What were you saying Draco? Could you repeat it please?"
"My- My Father will hear about this!!!" Draco shouted angrily as he continued to try to peel his hands out of Loki's grasp, in the meantime all those that surrounded Loki had already pulled out their wands, priming their spirituality to cast spells at him.
Everyone thought Loki would leave Draco, afraid of the wands that were pointing at him, but instead "Ha!" he doubled down and pushed Draco down using his shoulder, causing him to kiss the floor. "Tell them to leave me alone."
A tense silence hung in the air as the faces of everyone around Loki turned into frowns, their expressions hinged on Draco's next response.
"...Leave him alone.", Draco said while gritting his teeth, trying to bear the ever-increasing pain.
"Tsk."
Several of Draco's friends clicked their tongues and slowly lowered their wands and parted, allowing Loki to step out of the small encirclement, leaving behind simple words, "Why don't you run to your father then, like the baby you are."
Under the piercing gaze of everyone in the common room, Loki made sure to walk with firm steps, trying not to falter, or show any weaknesses which could be exploited.
*SWIP*
The rustling of clothes and the sound of pulling out of wands from their holsters rang behind Loki, causing him to realise what was going to happen.
"Pestis!!" the shout he heard only confirmed his suspicions.
'A sneak attack?'
'Can't say I didn't expect as much from a coward.'
Before anyone could retrain their aims, Loki ducked and rolled under the spell that shot toward him.
The spell harmlessly passed over Loki's head and to a girl's unfortunate encounter, landed right on a girl who was sitting and staring at the confrontation with her friends as an audience.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
The girl stood up as if her muscles were shocked, and then her eyes rolled back as an ear-shattering scream escaped her vocal cords.
Loki didn't stand back up, he used the temporary distraction to hide himself.
He used his illusions to create a pseudo-disillusionment charm over himself and sneaked out of harm's way, rolling into the aisle that took him to the dorm rooms.
Before the girl's screams ended, all the students pulled out their wands and pointed them at Malfoy and his groupies.
Standing in the aisle leading to the dorm rooms, Loki noticed just how tense the situation had become. Draco's group pointed their wands at the students in the common room, while the students did the same to him and his group.
It was clear at a glance who would win given the obvious difference in numbers.
And so, Draco spoke up, "My father will hear about this if any of you dare to cast spells on us!!!!" unfortunately that only made the scowls on the faces of the students deepen.
That was when a girl in Draco's group spoke up due to the fear of being targeted. "It wasn't our fault Loki moved!! We didn't want to harm her!! It only happened because of Loki!!! Not our fault!!!"
That seemed to have worked as it defused the situation a little since few students put down their wands.
Seeing the situation calming down, Loki clicked his tongue most inaudibly and walked over to his room.
'Should I have become the spark that ignited the situation?' Loki wondered, but then he remembered how the girl had screamed and he put a pause to his thoughts, 'No, they'd probably just blame everything on me and it'd get difficult for me to walk into the dorms again.'
Returning to his room, Loki closed the door and made sure it was fully locked before walking over to the attached bathroom and performing the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth ritual to go over into the Sefirah Castle.
As soon as he did, Loki conjured up a chair and sat on it.
"Damn, that felt cringeworthy!" Loki said sitting on the bed.
"What is Draco? Some cringy edge lord protagonist?! With how much he sticks around Harry and his friends, I'm starting to feel he is the real hidden antagonist all along."
Loki then began to wonder about what had just happened in the common room.
'Why did I feel so angry back then? I felt like I wanted to let loose.'
'Did someone use charm on me to make me lose control over my emotions?'
'And Draco, why did he suddenly want to attack me?'
'I mean yes, I was worried that Malfoy was trying to pull something off on me, but I didn't think he'd have done anything in front of everyone in the common room.'
"Perhaps 'Adam' wanted for something to happen to me?"
'Was he in the common room? Along with all of us?'
'Damn, this means I need to get my occlumency to the next level where the runes become a part of my subconscious mind and protect me from mental manipulation spells.'
Loki's fist clenched and unclenched several times as he tried to figure out if there was anything wrong with him before a strange thought passed his mind and he froze.
'Why was my first thought not to perform a divination?'
