Cassian had already said his goodbyes to all his friends and subordinates, but bidding farewell to Lumine had been his favorite moment. He managed to steal a few passionate minutes with her, their kisses growing increasingly intense. Lumine kissed him back hungrily, leaving them both breathless. If not for the release he'd had earlier with Lucy, things might have escalated further.

Now, he was in the carriage on his way back to the city, alone with Lucy. Reflecting on his time here, he realized he had accomplished a lot. The biggest achievement was unlocking his domain. However, he hadn't yet reached the rank of a circle warrior, as he still hadn't learned a mana-gathering technique. His breakthrough had come so suddenly that he hadn't had the chance to prepare, but he was determined to find the right technique in due time.
