Logan opened his eyes and found himself in a familiar setting—a bar from years ago. The air smelled of old whiskey and wood, a scene he never expected to see again. Glancing around, he saw Dr. Strange seated behind the bar, casually sipping a drink as if everything was normal.
Logan clenched his fist, crushing the phone he was holding, the memory of Laura's words echoing in his mind: You're going to be a father.
The weight of the moment hit him, and he noticed several other figures around the room.
Peggy Carter—Captain Carter—was quietly looking at an old photo of Steve Rogers on the wall, her expression solemn. Party Thor was slamming a beer down while seated with Dr. Strange.
Across from them, T'Challa—Star-Lord from his own universe—stood observing the room. Killmonger, ever the predator, was staring intently at the Ultron's sentry head standing near Thor, his eyes burning with silent intent. Gamora was also present, questioning Strange about something.
Logan's patience snapped. His thoughts were only on Laura. He moved like a blur, crossing the room in a flash, grabbing Strange by the collar, and slamming him hard against the bar.
With his right hand, Logan extended his claws, the familiar snikt sound filling the room, placing the sharp mysterium claws near Strange's face. "I'm giving you five seconds to send me back," he growled, his voice full of raw anger.
Logan's piercing eyes drilled into Strange's, completely serious. If this had been any other time, Logan might have tolerated this intrusion. But not now—not when he had just learned that he was about to become a father.
The room tensed. Some of the others looked ready to intervene, while others, like Killmonger, seemed intrigued by Logan's aggression. Party Thor is more relaxed, but Gamora and Star-Lord were clearly on edge.
Strange, though, remained calm, his eyes never leaving Logan's. He knew the gravity of the situation. From behind, a familiar voice interrupted the moment.
"Logan, calm down. Let us explain," came the voice of The Watcher, standing silently in the shadows.
Logan turned, eyes narrowing as he glared at The Watcher. "Go fuck yourself," he spat. "I don't care about your crap. I need to be with my wife—she's pregnant, and I need to see her." His voice carried a depth of emotion that shocked even those around him.
In both of his lives, this was the first time he was becoming a father. He wanted to be with Laura now, no matter what.
Thor grinned, clearly missing the point. "So, you're going to be a father? That calls for a party!" He raised his hammer, creating a thunderclap in the room, startling everyone momentarily.
The Watcher, however, remained unflustered. "This matter concerns not just the fate of one universe, Logan, but all of them. The entire multiverse is at stake," The Watcher intoned gravely, his voice echoing across the room.
Logan's frustration was palpable, but he stood still for a moment as The Watcher explained the dire situation with Infinity Ultron.
In one universe, Ultron succeeded in his mission. After defeating the Avengers, he acquired the Mind Stone and fused it into his own body, but his victory didn't stop there. He killed Thanos and acquire all six Infinity Stones, giving him immense power.
He then destroyed all the life in his entire universe but eventually, Ultron became aware of The Watcher's existence, breaking through the boundaries of the multiverse itself.
Ultron had been using the Infinity Stones to destroy planets, realities, and anyone who stood in his way.
Ultron, now fully aware of the multiverse, used his newfound abilities to wage war across countless realities, eliminating life with ruthless efficiency. His goal: total annihilation.
Now, Ultron seeks to wipe out all realities. The only hope lies in a group of unique individuals brought together from across different universes to defeat him.
Logan, after hearing this, shook his head in frustration. "This is the second time I've pulled me into the cosmic mess…damn it!"
One by one everyone agreed to be the part of the mission to bring Ultron down.
He remembered the What if series TV show and understand the situation more. As much as he wanted to be with Laura, he couldn't ignore the potential destruction of the entire multiverse.
After claming down and thinking about everything, he agreed. "Fine. I'll help. But the moment this is done, I'm out."
The Watcher and Strange nodded, and the others soon gathered around to form a plan.
Their objective was to get the Infinity Stones away from Ultron and destroy them. Gamora, who had already succeeded in her own universe in destroying the Infinity Stones, possessed the knowledge and equipment needed to do so. However, Ultron was not just any opponent. His power with the stones was almost limitless, and he had become aware of The Watcher's meddling.
Strange would serve as the key to defending the group from Ultron's full power, using his mastery over the mystic arts to create barriers and counter some of Ultron's reality-warping abilities.
Logan, Killmonger, and Party Thor would be the front-line fighters, engaging Ultron directly to create distractions. Peggy and T'Challa, with their tactical minds, would coordinate key strikes to get close enough to the Stones and steal them.
The plan relied heavily on the element of surprise and timing. Every attack had to be coordinated to ensure that Ultron couldn't retaliate instantly.
Logan and Thor using their powers would have to keep Ultron occupied, while Strange shielded the group from his most devastating attacks.
Once Captain Carter and Star lord stole the stone they would bring them to Gamora, she would deploy her weapon to destroy the stones.
Their attention should be mainly focused on the soul stone, as it is the most mysterious and different from all the others.
With the plan set, they all prepared for the fight of their lives—knowing that the fate of every reality hung in the balance.

**Location: unknown planet**
The team decided to take refuge in another universe for the night before engaging Ultron in the battle tomorrow, resting in a large cave that Supreme Strange had found. Strange, ever the sorcerer, conjured up drinks for everyone, and soon, a campfire was crackling in the center, casting flickering shadows on their faces.
Everyone settled around the fire, sharing stories about their lives and pasts. Some spoke more than others.
Thor, naturally, was the most vocal, talking about his many parties and battles, while Captain Carter shared stories about her time as a soldier during World War II, where she fought not just for her world, but for her friends. Star-Lord T'Challa, with his calm demeanor, told stories about his adventures across the galaxy, how he became Star-Lord in his universe, one that brought peace and avoided bloodshed wherever possible.
When it was Killmonger's turn, he simply mentioned he was a king in his universe, but he kept the details vague. His eyes constantly flickered to the head of the Ultron drone, still analyzing it, plotting something.
Logan feeling the need to relax after all the tension, leaned back and shared a bit about himself. He spoke about his past, touching on the wars he'd fought in, the people he'd lost, and his complicated history with his powers and how he had lived for over a century. He mentioned Laura briefly but avoided going into too much detail about his family.
Peggy Carter (Captain Carter) and Thor engaged the most with Logan's story, curious about the unique trials he had endured. Peggy was especially interested in his role as an Alpha werewolf, asking how he balanced his wolf side with his humanity. Thor impressed by the ferocity Logan described.
Peggy admired his resilience, while Thor joked, "A wolf with claws, eh? I'd love to see you fight in the future!"
Star-Lord (T'Challa) nodded along, adding that Logan's experiences were similar to those he had seen in his own travels across galaxies. Gamora and Killmonger listened, but neither seemed particularly fazed by Logan's stories.
After Logan finished, Strange chuckled, breaking the reflective atmosphere. "How about a change in costume?" Strange said, eyeing Logan's civilian clothes. With a snap of his fingers, Logan's attire shifted.
His new combat suit was a sleek black, almost identical to his iconic original one, but with a darker, stealthier appearance. The design still had that tactical edge, but now it felt more suited for this cosmic battle they were preparing for.
"How's it look?" Strange asked, a smirk on his face.
Logan looked down at his new attire, extending his mysterium claws with a grin. "Looks cool," he said simply, giving a nod of approval.

Strange smirked at the compliment while Thor grinned. Peggy asked Logan more questions about his life, wondering how he had managed to endure such a long existence with pain and loss. Logan shrugged, explaining that it came down to survival and stubbornness. The concept of aging and immortality intrigued Peggy, who was fascinated by the idea of living through multiple time periods.
As they continued to drink and loosen up, Gamora quietly walked over to Logan. She glanced over at Killmonger, who was silently examining the head of an Ultron drone he had taken as a trophy. "Do you trust him?" Gamora asked, her voice low and cautious.
Logan followed her gaze and snorted. "No," he said flatly. "I trust my instincts," he replied. "And they're telling me he's trouble. He'll definitely be a problem in the future."
Gamora raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his response. "Then why are you so calm around him?"
Logan smirked. "Because I'm stronger."
Gamora narrowed her eyes, processing his words. Before she could ask more, Strange called for everyone's attention.
Strange stood up and, with his usual mystic flair, tried to deliver an inspirational speech to the group. "We stand here, on the precipice of something far greater than any of us have ever faced before," he began. "Fate has brought us together as protectors of the multiverse… and we—" But as he continued, it became painfully clear that the speech was failing miserably.
His dramatic pauses felt awkward, and the words came out stilted, prompting a few raised eyebrows and silent chuckles from the group. Even Thor, who normally enjoyed such heroic speeches, seemed to lose focus halfway through.
Logan only sighed, unimpressed, while Thor cheered enthusiastically, more interested in the drinks
Strange faltered, ending the speech with a shrug. "Yeah, well... let's get ready for tomorrow."
They all raised their glasses to toast to the mission. Thor, ever the showman, shouted, "Vegas!" and unleashed a crack of thunder from Mjolnir.
But the moment of celebration was short-lived. A deep, ominous voice echoed from outside the planet.
"So, there's still life on this planet, huh?" The voice sent chills down their spines.
Logan turned, eyes narrowing as he saw the massive head of Infinity Ultron hovering above them.
He glanced at Thor. "You just had to do that."
Thor shrugged, "What did I say? I tend to bring unwanted attention."
As the group gathered themselves, ready for a fight, the massive, looming figure of Ultron floated down from the sky, glowing with the power of all six Infinity Stones.
He hovered just above the ground, his expression one of calm arrogance as he regarded the group like insignificant insects.
Strange quickly reacted, casting enhanced spells on the team to prepare them for battle and opening a portal, he send Gamora and Killmonger to another location readying them for the final phase of their plan. However, the enhancements didn't work on Logan.
His mysterium claws prevented any external magic from altering him, but the suit he wore was imbued with protective runes, giving it added strength and durability.
Logan smirked, extending his mysterium claws, the sharp metallic blades gleaming under the dim light. He looked up at Ultron, completely unfazed. "Let's fucking go."
The final battle for the multiverse was about to begin.
