Wang Lu motioned her to be patient and observe, he was sure that this flower didn't grow to this point by chance. Since that was the case, he had to be slightly careful.
Wang Lu was not able to detect any creatures around the Dragon Star Grass, but this went further to make him wary.
The lack of danger was the most dangerous thing, as such his perception kept checking the region ahead of him with a serious expression.
"Can't you realize this place doesn't present any sort of threat! " He turned to Wang Yue opposite of him and said casually.
"Isn't that a good thing?" She looked at her elder brother with confusion. But what she had asked was considered realistic.
"Of course not! This place is already very dangerous. If some creature was guarding this place, I might have been slightly concerned. But at the moment, but now, I'm thinking this is a graveyard." Wang Lu knelt down and started to dig up with the bare hands.
"Look!" The area Wang Lu was pointing at the bones that had started to surface. Clearly this surprised Wang Yue, but she then turned towards the direction of the flower.
"Is this grass that dangerous?" Wang Yue still didn't see how the treasure could cause this kind of situation.
"Its not! But!.." he wanted to say more, but he stopped.
"But what?" Wang Yue didn't seem very appreciative of him leaving words hanging like this. Only Wang Lu had his reasons, as he felt he needed to be sure before saying anything.
He might have initially thought of this grass was the cause of the skeletons, but he knew clearly from the records that was impossible. Facing the set up in this place, it should be the handiwork of some intelligent creature.
Wang Lu didn't actually know if he could really find out anything of significance, but he could only take his time.
"Do I have to test things myself." He indeed didn't see anyway out. But the variation of attack he had come up with from the Inverse Heavens after reaching perfection of artistic Conception was clearly usable in this situation.
He didn't have to approach the danger at all, as such he looked at Wang Yue and ordered, "Retreat!"
His figure on the other hand, didn't retreat in the slightest, rather seemed to appear close to the grass and extend an arm foward.
To his surprise, nothing happened, but after his hand reached the Dragon Star Grass, it passed through.
"Indeed fake!" He lamented as the figure that had extended the hand vanished.
He then thought of something, but didn't panic.
"It's fake!" As he said this, he retreated fast, arriving before Wang Yue and dragging her even further.
"What is wrong?" She asked as she was pulled back without any ability to resist.
"It's a trap. Perhaps we are about to find out the source of all this bones below the ground." He replied casually. But his saber was already unsheathed with his right hand.
Seeing his smooth actions, Wang Yue was very excited as she was about to watch her brother in action for the first time to closely.
But she soon was attracted towards the direction they had fled from as the ground suddenly started to shake more intensely and the next moment, cracks followed.
Before she could even exclaim, a massive body surfaced from the ground.
"Well! That explains a lot. With this thing here, how could it be possible to get anything good from this place."
Wang Li complained, but his saber swing was not slow in the slightest.
Instead of attacking the creature he had not seen, he cleaved towards the ground.
Boom!
A deep pit a few hundred meters could was instantly left in place, and the only thing Wang Lu could hear was a roar.
The roar, clearly affected his spirit, and without even knowing it, his body paused for a moment.
But his Unbounded Fist Artistic conception kicked in, causing his spirit to regain some vigor.
When this happened, he didn't waste time and unleashed the conception completely.
It covered him and Wang Yue as they retreated further.
"Terifying! Monsters can actually also play this way." Wang Lu didn't forget complain, as he had always assumed he could easily crush monsters.
But this seemed like a good lesson for him.
As Wang Lu retreated, he didn't forget to attack outwards, and his attacks used all his strength. The devastation was indeed worth spreading, but even so, it couldn't be counted as much, compared to the entire space they where located in.
But even so, Wang Yue was engrossed in this attacks, in her eyes, Wang Lu's saber slashes seemed to be the simplest he has ever seen one world a saber. But the simple moves made her eyes glued on them.
It was clearly returning to simplicity, but even so, Wang Lu couldn't take down the creature.
It was more like a pangolin, and what he could accomplish was pushing it back again and again. That being the case, he retreated with Wang Yue and escaped as faster as he could.
As he checked the region that had been devastated by fight, he also noticed that the creature left standing kept roaring agirly but didn't leave.
"Don't tell me this creature is unwilling to leave, even if there is some treasure being guarded in that place, it shouldn't have just let me leave." He was puzzled, but not eager or willing to seek trouble with that creature.
He was incapable of even scratching its skin, what would be the point of fighting? But he was clearly curious what the monster was even guarding. It was just that his strength seemed to be incapable of allowing him to act recklessly.
With Wang Lu's eyesight, how could he not be able to tell that the place that creature was standing was not normal. Putting aside the bones he had seen, he had a feeling all the desolate he saw on the outside was caused by something near the location of the creature.
Hidding alongside Wang Lu, Wang Yue sneaked a glance at the massive creature and asked, "Brother! What happened to the treasure?"
"It is still there! Only not what we saw, rather should be hidden close by. That is a massive treasure, we have to slowly think of ways to get it." Wang Lu was very sober.
The adventures in this ruin might become dangerous the further one goes in the depths of the ruins.
It was difficult to tell that the dangers would just keep becoming stronger, as such the Dragon Star Grass was a must.é
