Cu Chulainn blinked, his expression a mix of disbelief and curiosity. "What just happened? Did the kid really charm her like that?"
Akuta nodded slowly, processing the bizarre turn of events. "In my long time of observing, I've seen this happen a few times… but it never ended well. Usually, it leads to chaos, not new alliances."
Mash sighed, crossing her arms with a hint of frustration. "Why can't it just be five girls in Senpai's harem? Why must I have more competition?" Her eyes darted between Medusa Alter and the rest of the group, a mix of determination and exasperation in her tone.
Anastasia chimed in, amusement dancing in her voice. "Well, this is just Ritsuka being Ritsuka, charming another girl. Servants, emotions, alliances—yes, I'm lost." She shook her head, trying to wrap her mind around the chaos of the situation.
Morgan, standing protectively beside Ritsuka, smirked slightly at the banter. "Oh, come now. It's not every day we gain such a powerful ally. Let's not underestimate Medusa Alter; she could be a game-changer in our fight."
Kama, still radiating mischief, added, "Honestly, I'm just here for the drama! Let's see how this unfolds." Her eyes sparkled with delight at the thought of more chaos.
Medusa Alter, observing the group, leaned against her scythe with a sly smile. "You all seem so concerned about your little dynamics. But I assure you, my intentions are serious. I want power... and perhaps a little fun."
Ritsuka, still processing everything, interjected. "We'll all figure this out together. What matters is that we stand united against our enemies. Each of you has a role to play in this."
Cu Chulainn nodded, finally beginning to understand. "Alright, kid. Just remember to keep your head cool. We've got a fight on our hands, and I don't want to see you get distracted by—" He gestured toward Medusa Alter, who smirked back at him.
"—by distractions," Ritsuka finished, a hint of a smile on his face. "Fair enough. But I believe in working with our strengths. Medusa, your abilities will be crucial against our foes."
The tension in the air lightened slightly as Medusa Alter's eyes gleamed with interest. "Very well, Ritsuka. I'll play along... for now. Just remember: my loyalty comes at a price."
"Understood," he replied, his resolve solidifying. "Let's focus on the mission. We can settle our dynamics later."
As the group prepared to move, the weight of their recent encounter hung in the air, but there was also a sense of anticipation. With Medusa Alter now among them, the fight ahead would undoubtedly take on a new complexity.
Kama's voice rang in Ritsuka's mind again, excitement lacing her words. "This is going to be one wild ride! Let's see how long you can keep her interest, Ritsuka!"
With a deep breath, Ritsuka led the way forward, determined to embrace whatever challenges lay ahead. Together, they would face whatever darkness awaited them, united by their shared goals and newfound alliances.
The group ran onward, adrenaline pumping as they navigated through the eerie landscape. Ritsuka checked his system, his mind racing as he accessed the harem member stats, focusing on the icon that represented Medusa Alter.
[ Name: Medusa Alter
Level: 80
Love: 4/10
Lust: 10/10 (Yeah, you're in trouble)
Notes: She likes the host but in more of a lustful way than a romantic way (Host, you're really in trouble). She is the corrupted version of her original self, so her stats are all over the place ]
Ritsuka sighed, frustration creeping into his thoughts. "I hate my life sometimes."
As they continued to run, the weight of Medusa Alter's presence lingered in the air, making Ritsuka acutely aware of the tangled emotions within his growing harem. The notion of navigating those feelings while dealing with imminent threats felt daunting.
"Stay sharp, everyone," Ritsuka called out, pushing aside his worries for now. "We need to keep moving and stay focused on the mission. We'll figure everything out later."
With his resolve steady, Ritsuka led the group deeper into the unknown, each step echoing the uncertainty that lay ahead.
Cu Chulainn looked at Ritsuka as they ran. "You know, kid, you're pretty strong and good with a bow. Who taught you?"
Ritsuka glanced at Kama, a smile on his face, before replying to Cu Chulainn. "I'm kind of self-taught. As for my strength, I'm just... strong."
He couldn't reveal that it was due to the systems; he wanted to keep that secret. So far, only Kama, Morgan, and he were aware of it. Kama had created the system, which was why she knew he was the host, and Morgan's Fae eyes made it impossible to hide the truth from her. They continued running, the tension in the air palpable.
Cu Chulainn regarded Ritsuka thoughtfully. "You know, my teacher would definitely love to teach you."
Akuta interjected, "You mean the God Killer, Scathach?"
Cu Chulainn smirked, looking at Akuta. "You're a smart girl. Yes, her—the queen of the Land of Shadows. You should visit her in her domain."
Morgan added, glancing at Cu Chulainn, "Impossible. Back in the age of gods, it was possible, but in the age of man, anyone who wants to reach her domain will need to go to the reverse side of the world."
Ritsuka felt a chill run down his spine. "Why do I feel like somehow she'll end up training me?"
Cu Chulainn chuckled, sensing Ritsuka's apprehension. "Maybe she will! Just think of the strength you could gain. But be prepared; she doesn't hold back."
As they pressed onward, Ritsuka couldn't shake the thought. The idea of training under someone like Scathach was both thrilling and terrifying. For now, however, the immediate concern was surviving their current predicament.
As the group continued to sprint through the eerie streets, Ritsuka couldn't shake the feeling of foreboding that accompanied the mention of Scathach. The thought of facing a legendary warrior sent shivers down his spine, yet the idea of honing his skills under her guidance intrigued him. He glanced at Kama, who seemed to sense his inner turmoil.
"Don't worry, Ritsuka," Kama reassured him, her voice echoing in his mind. "Training with Scathach will only make you stronger. Just remember to keep your wits about you. She's not the easiest teacher."
The group reached a clearing at the edge of the city, where the looming shadow of the creepy mountain towered over them. Ritsuka felt an unsettling energy radiating from its peak, and he knew they were getting closer to whatever threat awaited them.
"Stay alert," Morgan commanded, her Fae eyes scanning their surroundings. "We don't know what other servants or traps might be waiting for us up there."
Just then, the ground shook beneath them, and a loud roar echoed from the mountain. Ritsuka's heart raced as a massive figure emerged from the shadows, a hulking Berserker with wild, unkempt hair and a monstrous presence. The Berserker charged at them, muscles rippling with raw power.
"Get ready!" Morgan shouted, drawing her sword.
Kama summoned a flurry of arrows, preparing to unleash them upon the beast. Ritsuka quickly nocked an arrow of his own, focusing his energy. The Berserker let out a primal roar, and the force of it nearly knocked them off their feet.
"How do we take this thing down?" Ritsuka shouted, trying to keep his composure.
Cu Chulainn stepped forward, brandishing his spear. "We hit it hard and fast! Distract it while we find its weak point!"
Morgan nodded, her expression determined. "I'll draw its attention. You all focus on support and damage!"
With a swift movement, Morgan launched herself toward the Berserker, her sword gleaming as she slashed at its arm. The Berserker roared in pain but quickly retaliated, swinging a massive fist that narrowly missed her.
Ritsuka took a deep breath, summoning his Fire of the Heart. Blue flames enveloped his arrow as he let it fly, striking the Berserker in the shoulder. The creature staggered but quickly regained its footing.
"Now, Kama!" he shouted.
Kama released her arrows, each one igniting in flames before piercing the Berserker's skin. The creature howled in agony, its focus momentarily shifting toward her.
"That's it! Keep it distracted!" Cu Chulainn yelled as he moved in closer, aiming to exploit the opening.
Suddenly, a glint of silver caught Ritsuka's eye. Medusa Alter, still lingering on the outskirts of the battle, seemed to be assessing the situation.
"You might want to reconsider your approach," she called out, her voice teasing. "A Berserker's strength lies in its rage. If you want to defeat it, you'll need to outsmart it."
Ritsuka shot her a glare. "And you just plan to watch?"
She smiled coyly. "For now. But don't worry, I might be persuaded to help—if you play your cards right."
Focusing back on the battle, Ritsuka and the others strategized. They needed a plan. The Berserker was tough but predictable. He remembered Kama's suggestion: if they could channel its rage against it, they might have a chance.
"Cu Chulainn! Draw its attention to the edge of the clearing!" Ritsuka yelled.
With a nod, Cu Chulainn began taunting the Berserker, darting back and forth to provoke it. The creature growled, focusing its rage on him as it charged forward.
"Now, everyone, to the sides!" Ritsuka instructed. "On my mark!"
As the Berserker barreled toward Cu Chulainn, Ritsuka could feel the adrenaline surging through him. He waited until the last moment, then shouted, "Now!"
Cu Chulainn sidestepped, and the Berserker plowed into the rocky ground, momentarily stunned. Ritsuka and Kama seized the opportunity, launching their attacks in unison. Ritsuka let loose a volley of arrows, while Kama sent a wave of flaming projectiles, igniting the ground beneath the beast.
Morgan capitalized on the moment, leaping high into the air. "Now, let's finish this!" she cried, bringing her sword down with all her might.
The blade connected with the Berserker's back, and a shockwave erupted from the impact. The creature roared, thrashing wildly as the combined attacks overwhelmed it. Just when it seemed defeated, the Berserker suddenly surged to its feet, its eyes burning with fury.
"It's not done yet!" Akuta yelled, stepping forward with a determined expression. "I'll help immobilize it!"
She conjured a powerful spell, binding the Berserker in place with ethereal chains. The creature struggled, but the chains glimmered with a bright light, holding it firmly.
"Now's our chance!" Ritsuka shouted. "Hit it with everything you've got!"
Kama unleashed her final barrage of arrows, each one aimed with precision. Morgan charged in, striking at the creature's legs to keep it from breaking free. Ritsuka focused all his energy into a single arrow, the Fire of the Heart igniting it with blue flames.
He took aim, letting the arrow fly with all his strength. It pierced through the Berserker's chest, igniting upon impact. The creature let out a deafening roar, collapsing to the ground in a final, desperate attempt to fight back before succumbing to the onslaught.
As the dust settled, the group stood panting, staring at the fallen Berserker.
"Is it over?" Mash asked, her eyes wide with concern.
Ritsuka stepped forward cautiously, checking the beast's body. "It's down, but let's not let our guard down. There could be more."
Suddenly, Medusa Alter stepped closer, a playful smirk on her lips. "Impressive teamwork, but don't get too comfortable. The real challenge is still ahead."
Ritsuka felt a mix of annoyance and intrigue. He had no idea what her true intentions were, but he had to keep his focus on the mission.
"Right, we need to move before anything else shows up," he said, rallying the group.
As they continued toward the mountain, Ritsuka's mind raced with thoughts of training with Scathach, the encounters with Medusa Alter, and the challenges yet to come. Each step they took was a step deeper into the unknown, but he was determined to face whatever lay ahead, alongside his growing harem of powerful allies.
Akuta then spoke to the group as they kept running. "So is no one going to question why there are so many Beserker"
Ritsuka looked at Medusa alter. "Can you please explain"
Medusa Alter just smirked at him. "Oh why should I tell you"
Kama just looked at her. "Tell us or else"
Medusa alter just smirked. "Or what Goddes"
Kama just gave her a evil smile. "This"
Medusa alter was hit by a pink blast, as first she didn't felt anything, then she felt to floor, as she was twitching in both pain and pleasure her sense were on overlord not known what to do, as she even wet her in self in pleasure before kama stopped.
Kama looked at her. "Goddes of love and 'lust" keep that in mind ok Medusa"
Medusa alter got up and looked at her. "You evil, but to answer you the reason do so many Beserker is because of Saber after she defeats the original Beserker Hercules, it came back Curropted but didn't listen to her, so she sliced him to 12 peaches and cretas 12 berserk"
Morgan looked at her. "So the one we deafted when we first came here was only one 12"
Medusa looked at her. "In total you drafted 3, Cu Chulainn drafted 1, and I put of anger killed 2... 7 left I think"
As the group continued their sprint, the gravity of Medusa Alter's revelation settled over them like a heavy fog. Ritsuka felt a knot of tension tighten in his stomach. They had already faced three Berserkers, and the prospect of seven more lurking in the shadows was daunting.
Akuta frowned, crossing her arms. "So, we're running through a gauntlet of Berserkers? Fantastic."
"At least now we know what we're up against," Morgan said, her voice steady. "We need to be more strategic about how we approach the remaining ones."
Ritsuka nodded, trying to stay focused. "Medusa, if these Berserkers are all connected to Hercules, do they share any weaknesses? Anything we can exploit?"
Medusa Alter straightened, still recovering from Kama's earlier display of power. "They're all corrupted versions of Hercules, but they retain some of his original strength. However, their rage and confusion make them unpredictable. Each one might exhibit different behaviors and tactics. You can't rely on brute force alone."
Kama added, "If we can find out what triggers their rage or confusion, we might be able to control the fight better."
"That makes sense," Cu Chulainn said, glancing around. "But we'll need to keep moving. If there are more Berserkers, they might have heard the commotion from our last fight."
Ritsuka couldn't shake the feeling of urgency. "Then let's keep pushing forward. We need to find a safe place to regroup and strategize our next move."
As they traversed deeper into the mountain's shadow, the atmosphere grew heavier. The faint sound of growls echoed around them, and Ritsuka's instincts heightened. He could feel the tension crackling in the air.
Suddenly, the ground shook again, and a low rumble echoed from deeper within the mountain. The group halted, eyes wide, hearts pounding.
"That can't be good," Ritsuka muttered, his grip tightening on his bow.
Before anyone could respond, a massive shape burst forth from the darkness—a towering figure clad in tattered armor, its eyes glowing with fury. Another Berserker.
"This one looks even bigger than the last," Mash said, her voice trembling slightly.
Morgan stepped forward, her expression fierce. "We need to work together. This one seems more powerful than the others. Ritsuka, Kama, focus on ranged attacks. Cu Chulainn and I will engage it directly."
As they prepared for battle, Ritsuka felt a surge of determination. He remembered Kama's encouragement. He needed to harness his powers and prove himself to his allies.
Ritsuka took aim and fired an arrow imbued with the Fire of the Heart. The arrow struck the Berserker's shoulder, igniting upon impact and forcing it back. The creature roared, swinging its massive fists wildly.
Kama released a volley of her enchanted arrows, each striking the beast with precision, but it seemed undeterred.
"Keep firing!" Ritsuka shouted, determination fueling his voice.
Cu Chulainn darted forward, using his spear to dodge the Berserker's wild attacks. He struck at its legs, trying to unbalance it. Morgan joined him, slashing at the creature's torso while trying to stay out of its reach.
Akuta summoned her magic, attempting to ensnare the Berserker in glowing chains, but it broke free with a savage roar.
"Ritsuka, watch out!" Mash yelled as the Berserker swung an arm in his direction. Ritsuka barely dodged, rolling to the side as the creature's fist slammed into the ground where he had just stood.
"Focus on its head! Aim for its weak point!" Morgan called out, coordinating their attacks.
Ritsuka nodded, quickly shifting his aim. He pulled back another arrow, focusing all his energy into it. As he released the shot, he activated the Seductive Aura, channeling it through the arrow. The arrow glowed with an alluring light, aimed directly at the Berserker's face.
The creature halted for a moment, confusion flickering in its eyes as it gazed at the glowing arrow. Ritsuka's heart raced. Had the charm worked?
"Now! Everyone, attack!" he shouted.
Cu Chulainn and Morgan pressed their advantage, attacking from both sides as the Berserker staggered, momentarily distracted.
Kama seized the opportunity, sending forth a wave of arrows infused with her power. They struck the Berserker repeatedly, finally taking it down as it collapsed to the ground with a thunderous crash.
Breathing heavily, Ritsuka approached the fallen beast, a mix of triumph and caution coursing through him.
"That's another one down," he said, catching his breath.
Akuta looked at the fallen Berserker, her expression serious. "But how many more do we have to face? We need to figure out a way to deal with them quickly. This is getting out of hand."
Morgan surveyed the area. "We need to find their lair. If they're all connected, there might be a central point we can target to weaken them."
"Medusa, can you sense where the others are?" Ritsuka asked, turning to her.
Medusa Alter smirked, her demeanor shifting slightly. "I might have a way to locate them. But it won't come without a price. Are you willing to offer something in return for my assistance?"
Ritsuka felt a surge of frustration. "Can't you just help us out of the goodness of your heart?"
She laughed lightly, the sound sending chills down his spine. "Oh, dear Ritsuka, you should know by now that nothing comes without a cost. But if you're willing to make it interesting..."
Before he could respond, the ground shook once more, and a chorus of growls echoed around them. Ritsuka's heart sank.
"Looks like we don't have much time," he said urgently. "We need to decide quickly."
Kama stepped forward. "I can help you with whatever she requires. We need to act fast before the rest of them swarm us."
Medusa Alter's eyes glinted with mischief. "Very well. If you're willing to accept my terms, I can lead you to the remaining Berserkers."
Ritsuka glanced at his team, each of them weary but resolute. They had fought hard, and if they wanted to survive the oncoming onslaught, they had to trust Medusa, however risky that might be.
"Alright, we'll take your offer," he said, steeling himself. "But you need to keep your word."
With a smirk, Medusa Alter nodded, leading the group further into the depths of the mountain. The air thickened with tension, but Ritsuka felt a spark of determination igniting within him. They would confront the remaining Berserkers together, and with the power of his growing harem, he would find a way to turn the tide in their favor.
