I stared at Bruno, completely frozen in place. His words rang in my ears, but I couldn't process them—couldn't make sense of what he was telling me.
"My father... came to Armand Inc?" I repeated, my voice hollow. It was as if I was asking a question that didn't have an answer. I searched Bruno's face for any sign that this was a mistake, some kind of misunderstanding, but all I saw was the same serious expression he always wore.
"Yeah," Bruno said with a slow nod. "He came by the other day, asked to see me, and made his way to my office"
