Possessive of me

As Min Jun prepared to go to bed, he noticed two missed calls from an unknown number. His brow furrowed in thought—perhaps it was the hospital trying to reach him. With a sense of unease, he dialed the number and waited for the person on the other end to pick up.

"Hey, Jun! It's me, your senior, Lee Jong Dae," came a familiar voice.

"Ah, senior!" Min Jun blinked in surprise, momentarily startled. "Wh-why did you call?" He couldn't hide the confusion in his voice; it was unusual to get a call from Jong Dae, especially at this hour. Also, as far as he remembered, he never shared his number with Jong Dae.

"I heard about your mother and noticed you've been absent from the academy," Jong Dae said, concern evident in his tone. "I wanted to check in, make sure you're alright."
