Our Home World

The dress that Gabriel had managed to create for me was something out of a fantasy for me. It was a very simple dress. There was no lace or crystals or anything like that, but rather just a simple satin mermaid dress that went from the bottom of my neck all the way down to my feet, spreading out at my knees.

It had sleeves… if you could call them that. They were the length of the dress, with a single slit at my biceps, revealing my arms. The cuff stood out on my left wrist, the shining metal and red cross looking like an intentional accessory to the outfit.

And on my feet were white ballet shoes that were easy to walk in.

Finally feeling more confident than I ever hand in my entire life, I looked at my mates in front of me. "Ready to go?" I asked them, ignoring Da'kea. I probably should have thanked him for Gabriel, but I didn't feel that that was the right thing to do.
