Chapter 82 : Uchiha 2

"Good, then please listen to what I have to say," Shika said and waited for Sasuke to nod before starting.

"Let's start with why I reveal my identity to you right now, why not before... why suddenly.

This has more or less to do with Orochimaru targeting you. I honestly wasn't planning on bringing you in my investigation but I can't help it right now.

Currently, you are the only person who can help me... not to mention the only other Uchiha left behind me." Shika replied with a sigh, making Sasuke frown further. He didn't get it, though connected that Shika was trying to look out for him becuase of the sudden connection he found between the two.

However, besides that, he can't understand what Shika is talking about.

"Help you? What do you need help with?" Asked Sasuke with a raise in his eyebrows, for the time being forgetting about Orochimaru's issues.

"Ah, well that's more complicated to explain. You see after learning that I have a connection with Uchiha I naturally wanted to learn about my father.

Too late some might say but I started nonetheless. I never found out who was my real father but I knew that he had to be someone from the Uchiha clan. Most likely killed by your brother." Shika said with a little tenseness in his tone, to which Sasuke only replied.

"He is no brother of mine..." His voice was heated with emotion driving him, but... after that, he looked down, becuase he knew that what Shika was telling was the truth.

" Yeah, sorry for that, but what I am gonna talk about is something related to you, your brother and the entire Uchiha clan," Shika said while carefully observing Sasuke's reaction, and he wasn't surprised to see Sasuke's face morphing strangling after hearing this.

"What do you mean ?" Asked the avenger with much heat on his tone as his Sharinga came to life.

"Hmm, I believe that Itachi wasn't the only one who was responsible for what happened to the Uchiha clan," Shika replied and again this came to Sasuke like a shock.

"What do you mean, explain !" Sasuke all but demanded.

"What there is to explain. Do you really expect me to believe that one Jonin who was only 13, no matter how brilliant was able to kill an entire clan?

Are you kidding me?

Either you are living in delusion or you are not giving your own clan enough credit.

Yeah, Itachi was brilliant but so was the Uchiha clan, while he still existed, the Uchiha clan was the strongest clan in the village. Are you really ready to believe that only one 13-year-old boy was able to kill all of them, even your father, the wicked eye Fugaku, the clan leader of the Uchiha clan?

If I generously hyphen Itachi's strength, even then he has to be equal to your father.

What about others ?" Shika replied with a little heat in his tone, this was one thing which he always felt was that Sasuke was too stupid to just believe what he saw and take everything at face value.

Sasuke hearing this wanted to say something, anything but he can't because he had nothing to say. Many times he himself thought about this, but his anger and hatred stopped him.

Not to mention he himself didn't want to think that there was another person, because he didn't want to think even for a second that his brother was not what he thought, he desperately wanted to stick with that hatred of his against his brother.

Currently, that was the only thing he had.

"What proof do you have ?" Sasuke asked after controlling his emotions.

"Currently I have no proof, that was the reason why I needed your help…

You are the only person right now in Konoha who can and most likely will help me.

Secondly, I too believe that for someone who is so hell bend on taking revenge, you will not leave a chance to actually find out what really happened to the Uchiha clan do you ?" Shika asked while looking directly at Sasuke while observing the Uchiha boy.

This was his plan… he wanted to use Sasuke, this way he could stop Sasuke from defecting but at the same time he could build his own power to fight with the likes of Pain, Obito and Madara.

"What do you know, tell me" Sasuke demanded. After talking with him this much at least he learns this much that Shika in front of him know more than he is showing.

" Hmm saying that I know something might be far-fetched. To be honest I can only say that I have my suspicion.

There were others who helped Itachi or dare I say Itachi help them to end the strongest Clan in the village." Shika replied and then stood up, there was a lot he could have said but not right now. Because he doesn't have any proof.

Not to mention he has to make Sasuke work to get those answers.

"Just like you said, I don't have any proof, just my suspicions. I don't want to say any names in front of you before I have proof, so that's why I need your help." Shika replied and was ready to move out.

Sasuke hearing this didn't reply to anything, he honestly wanted to hear those names Shika come up with. But didn't ask him.

"Why you are so interested in this ?" Sasuke asked when Shika was just about to leave.

Hearing this Shika just smiled back at Sasuke.

"I don't know, but I want to know who killed my father, maybe he might never have accepted me but I still want to know.

And if possible.

Kill that person…" Shika looked directly at Sasuke's eyes. Sasuke did the same, a little sense of similarity gleaming in Sasuke's eyes at that time.

"Do tell me if you are willing to help. And consider this coming from a fellow half Uchiha, if that is what I can really call myself…

Stay away from Orochimaru, it will just give you false power and hope.

Real power is only the one you can control and use. Not the other way around." Shika said and then vanished from his place.

Leaving Sasuke there alone to ponder what just happened there.

Another question, what do you guys think, should I let Sasuke kill Itachi in the future or save him. I personally like his character but practically he was a villain, he kill so many innocent live there. I can't seem to decide on one thing here.
