Ugh... Where am I? I... Am I still alive?

William woke up in a place he didn't recognize at all. The dark sky made him realize it was night.

So... I'm still alive...

"Oi! You're awake?"

William heard a woman's voice he knew very well. He looked around, his vision still blurry from waking up. As his mind began to clear, he finally realized he was sleeping on a ship.

The waves rocking the ship forced his mind to react quickly back to normal, shocked by the situation.

"Oi, are you alright?"

"Ah, I'm fine... I... I'm fine," William replied spontaneously, answering the question from the only person near him at this moment, as he started to get up from his sleep.

Maria smiled and replied, "thank goodness."
