Chapter 67: Slaughter Begins

After establishing the Alex Shield, Alex ordered Agent Hill to use all available resources to track down the generals who had previously participated in the plan to hunt him down.

Alex was not a forgiving person who would let malicious attacks against him go unanswered. The only reason he spared those generals' lives before was that he didn't know their specific locations.

Now, with resources originally belonging to S.H.I.E.L.D., it would be easy to locate those generals.

It didn't take long before Agent Hill handed Alex a tablet, on which a map was dotted with red markers, indicating the current positions of those generals.

Seeing these markers, Alex smiled brightly. It was time to return the favor!

In a concealed military base, a general in charge of the base was attending a meeting in the conference room.

This was the third meeting the military had held specifically about the "White-Haired Mutant."

In the past, meetings had focused on major events like conflicts with other countries, but never on a single individual. Yet, they had now convened multiple meetings for the "White-Haired Mutant," something that had never happened before!

And what's more important, every plan devised to defeat the "White-Haired Mutant" had failed, without causing the slightest harm!

Since World War II, the U.S. had never faced such a severe setback!

At the meeting, the highest-ranking general asked Colonel Stryker, who was responsible for the Sentinel Program:

"Colonel Stryker, what is the progress on the Sentinel Robots?"

Although Colonel Stryker had the lowest rank in this secret meeting, as soon as he began speaking, he commanded everyone's full attention. The Sentinel Program he managed was their only hope for the future!

Given the ruthless style of the "White-Haired Mutant," there was no chance he would give up on his revenge. If they didn't quickly kill him, and allowed him to continue growing stronger, they would all surely face death!

They had reached a point where they could not coexist with the "White-Haired Mutant"!

In response to the highest general's question, Colonel Stryker confidently said:

"With the help of Dr. Samuel Stern and Dr. Ivan Vanko, the Sentinel Robots have made rapid progress and are now in the final stages, awaiting combat testing.

These new Sentinels not only incorporate Mystique's shapeshifting gene, enabling them to adapt to different mutant abilities, but they also use an Arc Reactor as their energy core. Supported by vast amounts of energy, they can greatly enhance any copied mutant abilities!

According to our calculations, just ten Sentinel Robots would be enough to kill a Level 4 mutant, and if a hundred were deployed at once, even the 'White-Haired Mutant' wouldn't be able to withstand them!"

On the conference room's big screen, a projection of the latest version of the Sentinel Robot appeared. While maintaining its original form, it now had a glowing core at its chest — the Arc Reactor.

Furthermore, the materials used for the Arc Reactor weren't metal but a composite material that was tougher than metal and had excellent regenerative capabilities!

Hearing Colonel Stryker's explanation, the generals finally smiled. The anxiety from the threat of death that had plagued them vanished instantly. Surely, such powerful Sentinel Robots could succeed in killing the "White-Haired Mutant."

At that moment, the general suddenly heard a loud explosion, followed by screams and gunfire.

He immediately sensed something was wrong, and soon a soldier arrived to report:

"General, the 'White-Haired Mutant' has discovered the location of the military base and is attacking it. Please evacuate immediately!"

"What?!"

The general was terrified. How did the "White-Haired Mutant" discover his location? Only a few covert organizations knew his exact whereabouts, not even the president!

Where had the leak come from?!

After a brief moment of confusion, he was overwhelmed by boundless fear. Given the immense power of the "White-Haired Mutant," even with enough military strength to topple a small country, they couldn't hold him back for long!

He thought of something and quickly asked Colonel Stryker:

"Colonel Stryker, how many Sentinel Robots are ready? Send them to save me immediately! The 'White-Haired Mutant' has found my location and is invading the military base!"

"What the hell?!"

All the generals showed fear because they realized that if the "White-Haired Mutant" could find one of them, he could find the rest!

Regardless of how he located them, they were no longer safe!

All the generals immediately pressured Colonel Stryker:

"Colonel Stryker, deploy all Sentinel Robots immediately to rescue General Gordon and kill the 'White-Haired Mutant!'"

"Yes, generals, rest assured! We have two hundred Sentinel Robots ready, more than enough to defeat the 'White-Haired Mutant.' General Gordon, please hold on a moment longer; the Sentinel Robots will be there shortly!"

Flying at supersonic speed, Alex broke the sound barrier, reaching Mach 20!

Within minutes, he arrived at the nearest military base.

The moment Alex reached the sky above the base, alarms blared throughout the facility:

"Warning! Warning! Unknown flying object approaching... No, it's not an unknown object — it's the 'White-Haired Mutant!'"

As the alarms screeched, Alex suddenly descended from the sky, falling from a thousand meters like a meteor into the base!

Boom!

With a massive explosion, an unstoppable shockwave erupted from the point where Alex landed, instantly destroying every building in the base!

With just one blow, all the structures on the base's surface were flattened, and even heavy tanks were thrown aside by the tremendous repulsive force. The drivers inside had no chance of survival.

After demolishing everything above ground and killing everyone there, Alex didn't leave. He slowly walked towards a corner of the rubble.

His Limitless Cursed Technique automatically repelled all the dust and smoke, leaving him completely spotless.

Upon reaching a specific location, Alex stopped. His energy rapidly concentrated, forming a Red in his hand.

When the singularity was fully formed, he hurled it downwards!

A horrifying force destroyed everything below, creating a massive circular crater in an instant!

At a depth of a hundred meters underground, a wrecked space became visible, and there, a general mentioned in the intelligence appeared before Alex.

Under the precise control of his Six Eyes, the general's legs were completely crushed by the immense force, but his upper body was intact, so he wasn't dead yet — merely writhing and howling on the ground!

Using gravity, Alex pulled the general up, ignored his pleas for mercy, and tapped his chest with his finger before turning to leave.

"That's the first one."

Boom!

A massive burst of energy exploded from within the general, releasing a terrifying light and heat, annihilating everything around!

High in the sky, Alex glanced back at the massive mushroom cloud with an even brighter smile. In the next moment, he broke the sound barrier again and sped toward his next target!
