Chapter 48 – Min city under attack – Again.

[City of Min – Mayor mansion.]

"…"

"Enter" – said the young man that was writing while sitting right next to the table.

The door to the room suddenly entered the dark elf butler entered the room.

"Excuse me master, I have bringed the report about the recent activities regarding the merchants." – said the old dark elf butler with a beard.

"…."

"What is this time?" – asked the young dark elf.

"Well, this time things seem much better than we expected, here." – said the dark elf before walking towards the young man and handing him the report.

"…."

"Well, its progress." – said the young dark elf.

"Its probably because of these adventures appearing here again and again, its attracting people, mostly merchants."

"City is recovering and is getting stronger than before…..."

"…."

"Sir." – said butler after realizing that the young dark elf is sad.

"I know…. I know." – said the young dark elf.

"It's just… Annoying."

"My father, the previous ruler of this city ended up being by some sort of member of the unknown terrorist group and after his death the city is now in the road of becoming even better place."

"It's just not fair."

"He wasn't asshole or anything and people loved him…."

[New mayor of the Min city - Alex Mim The Second – Son of the Alex Mim the first who was the previous ruler of this city.]

"Still no information about that weird group of people?" – asked the new mayor.

"No…. There was nothing." – said the mayor.

"…. Is that so…." – said the young dark elf.

(Dammit.)

(Who the hell were these people?! They just messed up with our city and then disappeared?!)

(The city has completely recover and all, but that incident left some scars, especially the people.)

(They are scared of this unknown organization that had spread the plague and killed my father.)

(There is straight up nothing.)

(I even got the lord of this land involved, since the fate of this city was heavily affected his income, but in the letters, I received from him he said that he did not found anything about them.)

(This is concerning.)

(Still…. Right now, we need to calm down people.)

(I have reinforced the city defenses and even recruited more guards.)

(It did costed a lot of money, but it was worth it.)

(The people are calming down knowing that the city is well better defended than before.)

(But still…. I cannot shake off the feeling that we are still in danger.)

(Am I being paranoid?)

[Meanwhile – One of the main gates of the Min city.]

"…."

"Man…. Its boring here." – said the orc guard.

"Hey, beat it already." – said the second orc guard.

"I just don't fuking get it, do you newbie?"

"This city is still shaken up by the past events and- "

"Yea, yea. I get it." – said the arrogant orc.

"But most of the times we are just dealing with some thugs or adventurers making commotion and that it."

"So, you are saying you would rather fight some terrorist?" – asked the annoyed orc guard.

"N-no. It's just- "

"Then shut up and just do your job. You are getting paid pretty well and all so you shouldn't complain."

"Besides, do you really think a wanted criminal would just show up at the main gate or something?"

"Hm?"

"What is it?" – asked arrogant orc.

"Is it me or somebody is ridding her at fast pace?"

The two orcs spotted somebody riding on the horse at fast pace towards them.

"?"

"Em… Why is going so fast?" – asked the arrogant orc.

"I don't know?"

"Maybe he want to take a shit or something?" – replied the other orc guard.

"But just in case we should stop him for the check."

The man was getting closer to the gate and was not showing any sight of slowing down.

The man was getting was getting closer and closer while the two guards waited.

However, as soon as the man was getting near the gate the orc who worked here before the plague had his facial expression completely changed.

The guard tried screaming something but the projectile made out the poison smoke flew towards them and exploded, creating a small cloud of poison.

While all of that was happening, a villager chimera was observing the entire situation all the way from the forest.

"This is an order. Kill any person you see, but you there, don't attack and instead stay in this position."

"As soon as you me attacking the guards, call other chimeras and attack."

"…"

The chimera saw the attack happening from the distance and began screaming with its two heads.

As soon as the chimera screamed, the chimeras who were killing players in the area heard it had suddenly stopped in their tracks and instead were straight up running towards the main gate.

While all of that was happening, the two guards were quickly killed by Phantasia before moments later Phantasia used skill [Poison Smoke] to cover up the entrance and then use the entrance in order to get inside the city.

Phantasia was officially inside.

"…."

(Okay.)

(I know I shouldn't have say it and all.)

(But how the hell I used the main gate entrance and got inside the city so easily?)

(That doesn't-)

Before Phantasia could finishing thinking what the fuck happened, several of the guards began appearing and rushing to the scene, spotting the Phantasia.

"…Oh."

(Huh…. I was expecting them to appear and all… But isn't this way more than I thought?)

(They really improved this place defenses by a lot, huh?)

A lot of guards got at the scene and pointed their spears at Phantasia.

But one of the guards instantly noticed something was extremely off about the invader.

"Wait! Look at the mask he is wearing!" – shouted the dark elf guard.

"He is- "

Before the guard could finish speaking, Phantasia throwed something up in the sky.

The object that was thrown up ended up getting attention of all of the guards in the process.

When the people looked at the object that was thrown, they realized it was some sort of glass bottle.

(The interesting thing about my plagues is that I can store them or if I have them in liquid form, I can apply them to my weapons like poison coating.)

"But this will do as well!" – said Phantasia while pointing his crossbow at the glass container.

Phantasia pullet the trigger and the crossbow bolt was fired, the bolt flew and hit the container, shattering it and releasing a red cloud.

The soldiers looked with scared and confused look what was going on, but as soon as they started reacting, the cloud quickly fallen down on them.

"Shit! What the hell is this stuff?!" – shouted one of the guards.

"A surprise." – said Phantasia.

"?!"

The guards swinged his spear behind him, thinking that the enemy was behind him, however he hit nothing.

The smoke stopped bother people sight, but the instance that happened the guard who tried attacking Phantasia ended up being stabbed in the back with Phantasia claws.

The other guards saw what just happened, but before they could react the young dark elf fallen on the ground dead.

"…."

Phantasia began running away.

"?!"

"Catch that fucker!" – shouted guard.

The guards began running after Phantasia.

(Yes! Chase me you idiots!)

(I reduced this plague strength and bonus effect for two things! Infection and duration!)

(Normally, creating even small amount of plague in its primally form of either liquid or smoke ends up using a lot of materials and the only real way to spread in the past was to personally kill people and use their corpse since I wasn't able to produce a lot primally plague form.)

(Honestly, creating that one bottle of the plague gas ended up using a lot of materials.)

(But it's worth it!)

(This stupid idiots are now spreading the plague around while chasing me.)

(I'm also covered in the plague as well!)

(This plague won't kill some of the higher level people, but the newbies and civilians? They are fucked!)

(So common!)

(Chase me around like idiots!)

(While you are chasing me my chimeras are already on their way.)

(I will turn this place into a living hell once again as I did before!)

(But this time the Min city won't survive it!)
