Sweet nothing!

"What should I do?"

Napabuntonghiningag tanong ni Rain kay Sophia.

"What plans do you have?"

"I don't know!"

Rain said, honestly. 

Moira a.k.a Laika was already enrage by the fact that the people she had known and respected tried to kill her. 

She was just a pawn ready to be dispose anytime when she's no longer needed. 

That's why no one reported her disappearance because no one cares, the family she had known all along were a stranged people. 

A she wolf leaving outside her pack!

"I bet Moira doesn't knew her real identity!"

Ani Rain matapos ng mahabang katahimikan.

"She was kidnapped when she was a child, 6 years old perhaps and swapped with Catherine whos 2 years older than her!" 

Rain jerked in his seat ng marinig ang sinabi ni Sophia.

"Where did you got that information?" 

Sophia give him the news paper taken 11 years back and a folder which Sophia asked to Mike.

"I hope it can answer your question!"

Sophia said with sympathy, she knew what Rain exactly felt right now. He's confused, angry and devastated. 

"Why did they keep her alive?"

Parang wala sa sariling tanong ni Rain kay Sophia, saglit namang napatitig ang huli sa lalaki. 

He seems lost! ani Sophia habang napabuntonghinga.

"They held her as hostage so that Mr. Lim will not betray them but knowing that old man's nature he doesn't care at all!"

Sophia snorts.

"I was kidnapped when I was a little girl that's the first time after a long time my maternal grandfather contacted Mr.Ybanez for an immediate help. You know the two of them is not really in good terms"

Sophia said in a matter of fact, talaga namang hindi magkasundo ang dalawang matatanda. The two of them were like coffee and tea. 

"According to my aunt my grandfather wired Mr. Ybanez in the middle of the night and the next thing he'd knew Mr. Ybanez was already in our doorstep. Being the last of Mr. Ybanez blood, he made everything to get me back safe and unharmed. He provided the money and went alone to see my kidnappers, he monopolized his people in one call. To make the story short I was rescued and those who kidnapped me meet their demise on that night!"

"Mr. Ybanez is different from Mr. Lim." 

Rain said it with so much admiration.

"Exactly! That's my point. Mr. Lim had so much power to free his only daughter from his associate but he never did anything. He let them take his precious daughter, he could've done the same what Mr. Ybanez did but still he choose to submit to them."

"Now that his gone Moira is the one suffering this damn thing!"

Rain suddenly bang the table which make Sophia jerked.

"We can't change anything now Moira has to go on in her own. Besides telling her the truth will put her in dilemma. If she'll choose to go against you, I'd rather kill her now!"

Napatingin bigla si Rain sa dalaga. There's no trace of joke in her face kaya't alam niyang di ito nagbibiro.

"I won't trade you for anything in this world!"

Makahulugan niyang sabi sa lalaki.

"Then let's keep it a secret and let her find the truth afterwards. If she still want to kill me after she learned the truth, it's up to her!"

"That's good idea!"

Sophia agreed, everything is up to Moira. Kung darating man ang panahon na malaman nitong Rain was the one who killed her biological father and she decided to get her revenge, it's probably fine!

Atleast rain will be mature enough to handle the situation by that time, kaya na nitong e handle mag isa ang problema gaano man kabigat.

Naputol ang kanilang pag muni-muni ng biglang tumunog ang telephono.

"Yes. .speaking!"

Bungad ni Sophia sa kabilang linya.

"Really?—open the tv!" 

Utos niya kay Rain. Dali-dali namang binuksan ni Rain ang tv.

"Thank you, Mike!" 

Anya bago ito ibinaba.

They both watch the news. Nakita nilang nagkakagulo ang mga nag rarally at mga police na nagbabarikada sa naturang lugar, ayon sa video maraming sugatang mga police sa naturang insidenti.

"How weird?"

Di mapigilang komento ni Rain.

"If sugatan ang mga police while they had a protective gear what about the people?"

"Find it in the CCTV and the details of the protest. We all knew how media manipulates the news, ipapakita lang sa atin ang kung ano ang dapat nating makita and the rest will be just a history!"

Sophia said in a matter of fact tone, she knew how giant tv networks manipulates everything. How those big bastards pay to them and when someone complaints against them they're going to say that press freedom is no longer exist!

Press freedom my foot! Inis na turan ni Sophia sa sarili. Well, anyway not all of them naman pero karamihan ay membro ng "Pera pera lang walang personalan"

"Anong petsa nga tayo ngayon!" 

Ani Rain habang mabilis na nagtitipa sa kanyang keyboard while entering the date. .

"At san tayo ngayon—I got it!"

Rain announce and both of them watch the actual video. 

"Nanawagan ho kami kay Mr. Galo na itigil ang pagpapa demolished nitong lumang paaralan ng ating lugar ngunit sa halip na pakinggan tayo at personal tayong harapin ay ito pong kanyang mga tauhan at police ang sumalubong sa amin. Wala po kaming intensyon na iba kundi—"

"Tumigil ka! Wala kayong karapatang mag rally dito dahil unang una ang lugar na ito ay hindi pagmamay-ari ng pamahalaan, hindi na kasalanan ni Mr. Galo kung mayaman sya at kayo'y mga hampaslupa!"

Nakakainsultong sigaw ng pinaka leader ng grupo na binayaran ni Mr. Galo upang harangan ang mga nagpipikit.

"Tumahimik ka, hampas lupa man kami atleast kami may dignidad, ikaw? Isa kalang aso at mamamatay kang aso!"

Doon na nagsimula ang rambulan ng biglang paluin ng pinaka leader ng grupo ni Mr. Galo ang isang matanda, pati mga police nakisama narin sa rambulan instead of preventing the riot.

"What a bunch of good for nothing!"

Di mapigilang sigaw ni Sophia. 

"Send this video in the Department of Police then post it in the internet tingnan ko lang, ano magiging reaction ni Mr. Galo rito!"

Rain did as what Sophia had instructed to him ng bigla nalang sya magkaroon ng idea.

"What if we're going to buy it?"

"You're crazy, Mr. Ybanez will not—"

"Not what you think it is, we're going to buy it with Mr. Galo's own money!"

Biglang napamulagat ang mga mata ni Sophia sa sobrang pagkagulat.

"You mean, we're going to scam him?"

Nakangiting napatango si Rain. 

"We could not exchange his son with Mr. Lim's daughter so why not change the plan a bit?"

Napapitik ng mga daliri si Sophia.

"Why? I did not think about it—that bastard thinks of money as god and we're going to lure him with some kind of investment he can't refused!" 

"I already had something in mind!"

Ani Rain. 

"He's tied up now, all we have to do is, release the video and offer him, to take care about it, with the exact price. Then we're going to hire a group who will protect those people na nag proprotesta. We still need them to continue but at the same time, sisiguraduhin nating hindi na sila masasaktan just to give Mr. Galo a lil bit of headache and we could steer some trouble here and there to divert his attention!"

"Sounds like a good plan, We're going to suck him dry, total pera naman ng mga tao ang perang ginagamit nyan sa pagpapayaman!"

Sophia said in a matter of fact tone habang gigil na gigil na nakatingin sa isang video ni Mr. Galo na kuha noong mga panahong nakaupo pa ito sa sinado. 

He was giving his nonsense speech.

"This crocs sit in the senate to suck up poor peoples money!" 

Di mapigilang komento ni Sophia.

"That was before, people now a days won't believe with sweet nothings, mga pangakong madalas napapako. they already learned their lesson in a hard way!"

Ani Rain na ipinagkibit balikat ng dalaga.

"Ika nga, having a mistake once is a lesson but repeating the same mistake twice is stupidity, it's up to them!"

Natatawang dagdag ni Rain.

"Anyway, after that we will buy the land and donate it to the people kapag hindi tayo papalya!"

Sophia smiled, kailan man ay hindi pa sya pumalya sa kahit na anong operasyon malamang nagkakaroon ng kaunting aberya but it always end with success.

"We're going to start this mission as soon as possible!"

They both end in with high five.

"No failure only Success!"

"Only success!"
