Stupid love!

Headline news today:

"In a case of the dead body found in east coast, is said to be a remain of a teenage, niece of mayor Montero, the current mayor of the city."

"The girl was reportedly disappeared on the night of august 22, according to the police investigation this teenage girl is already in a 14 list of body who found dead in different parts of the country."

"Initial investigation found that those girls were use as a drug carrier. ."

Sophie turn off the tv pagkatapos niyang ipakita kay Moira ang naturang balita. Moira silently sob habang wala sa sariling nilamukos ang kumot na nakatabon sa kanya.

"In this world you are already dead, that's the least we can do for you!"

Sophia sigh.

"Whether returning to them like a ghost or moving on with your life is up to you!"

"What option do I have?" 

Moira asked uncertainly. 

"We are a free folks Moira, if you imagine that I'm worst than any of them—well!"

Ani Sophia na nagkibit balikat.

"I lived that to your imagination, but if you decided to move on then we can give you a new identity, a new life perhaps. Everything it's up to you afterwards—you forgive those sons of bastards or you  take a revenge on them, it's your choice!"

"How could I trust you?"

Nanantiya nitong tanong sa kanya.

"That's good don't trust anyone from now on specially the one that's giving you a free offer" 

Ani Sophia na bahagyang lumapit dito at may  ibinulong.

"I am not offering a free ride, you have to work for it—just incase!" 

Diniinan ni Sophia ang huling katagang sinabi.

"You'd better forget about them and move on in your life!"

Hindi na makatiis na sabat ni Rain. 

"This is your only chance of survival—"

"Why are you doing this?"

Marahas na nilingon ni Moira kai Rain.

"Nakokonsensya ka? Then why, you never fight for me?"

Moira's voice was full of pain, nag uunahan sa pagtulo ang mga luha nito habang may hinanakit ang mga matang nakatitig kay Rain.

Sophia took a chance to exit, her presence is no longer required in there, the two of them need some space and closure perhaps.

"I was weak, I coudn't even defend myself!" 

Rain said in a matter of fact tone. 

"I stay away from you just to protect you, that's the bargain I made with that jackass to make sure Catherine won't bother you, anymore!"

"I don't know what's going on anymore!"

Napahagulgol na sigaw ni Moira. 

"You already had your own life why did you bother yourself saving me?" 

"Why?"

Nakatiimbagang sigaw ni Rain kay Moira.

"All we did is pulled you out in the water, you already half dead but still after those surgery you wake up—why?"

Rain was furiously shaking Moira.

"Why did you wake up if you think it's unfair for you to live on?"

"I want to kill all of them that's what I want to do,yon ang ginamit kung lakas habang nakikipaglaban ako kay kamatayan, but, you, telling me to forget them just make me melt all my resolve!"

"Just forget me Moira—"

"Not that I don't want but I just can't you're the very first reason, why I endured living this hell, please don't asked me to do that!"

"This will lead us to nowhere, pare pareho lang tayong mapapahamak. I couldn't even protect you!"

Matigas na sabi ni Rain sa kanya.

"Why because of her?"

There's an accusation in Moira's voice, di naman makapaniwalang napanganga si Rain ng marinig ang mga katagang lumabas sa bibig ni Moira.

Rain knew whom Moira was reffering to, it's Sophia.

"Do you love her?"

"Yes, more than anything else in this world but not the love you think it is, She's the very reason I realized what's important, it's family! Other than you whom I could not even protect, Sophie is the only family I had!"

Bigla nalang nag iba ang expression ni Moira, she was rather shocked to know the truth.

"So you have to reconsidered us, while I'm in the picture you will leave yourself in an open which makes you vulnerable to all of them, this is a damn war Moira and the only thing we could do in order for us to live—is to fight!"

"And we could not do that because we're weak?"

Naikuyom ni Moira ang mga kamay habang nag uunahan ang pagpatak ng kanyang mga luha. 

Wala ng mas sasakit pa sa bawat salitang binitawan ni Rain, sa katotohanang dahil mahina sya kaya't nangyari ang lahat ng iyon sa kanya.

"I understand!"

Moira said while silently sobbing, Rain looked up, habang nakikita niya ang paghihirap ni Moira hindi niya maatim na pahirapan pa ito, lalong lalo na ang kanyang sarili.

"Why Am I doing this?"

Hindi niya mapigilang itanong sa sarili.

Rain suddenly decided to stop his hypocrisy and face the truth, he always knew what he felt for her and Moira's been holdin on to him.

Without a word, Rain hugged Moira tightly, it was a hug that send a thousands of message.

"I'm sorry!"

Rain's voiced crooked, dahil malamang sa pagpipigil niyang di maiyak.

"I'm not really asking you to forget your feelings to me, I'm not that cruel. You always had a special place in my heart. I don't want to be a type of person who pushed you away in order to protect you but I'm rather a kind who will watch you far away just to make sure you are safe—do you understand me?"

Habang nakikinig si Sophia sa kanilang dalawa she realized how opposite Rain and Moira situation to her situation with Leo.

She pushed Leo away from her to protect him and so does Leo to her, they ended up being broken hearted even if it wasn't started yet.

Stupid love! indeed.

While Rain and Moira hold on into each other despite of all circumstances. They both held into each other. 

Despite the fact that Rain is a year older than Moira it doesn't affect Rain for being a responsible man as he is.

"Only fools rush in" but neither the two of them does, who would have thought Rain would be that matured in terms of handling relationship?

"Those who were already broken always tend to fix someone else, unlike to those who did not knew what broken means always breaks everything!"

Sophia said bitterly.

"Pull yourself together!" 

Ani Rain kay Moira habang hinahaplos nito ang buhok ng dalaga.

"Sophia and I will help you, we're going to send you somewhere safe, make yourself strong enough. By the time come back to me in one piece!"

Di mapigilang mapatitig ni Moira sa maamong mukha ni Rain, sa isip niya parang ibang Rain ang kanyang kaharap ngayon.

The man standing infront of him was totally different to a boy she used to chased on, just to make him accept her. 

Di rin nakawala sa paningin ni Rain ang pagtataka sa mukha ni Moira. 

Without a word Rain kiss Moira torridly, it was a kiss of love and longing. Rain almost forget his sanity when Moira grab her closer to her and responded him equally.

Kung hindi lang sila nakarinig ng malakas na pagkalabog ng aparato, Rain probably went on, marahas silang napalingon sa dereksyong nilabasan si Sophia kanina.

"Damn!" 

Mahinang mura ni Sophia at nagmamadaling tumayo mula sa pagkakadagan niya sa operating apparatus. 

When she saw them kissing she was so shocked kaya't napaatras sya ng hindi niya namamalayan, she tumbled with the operating table na may mga apparatus na nakalagay.

"I'm sorry I have to go!" 

Dinampian ng halik ni Rain si Moira before leaving without a word to hide his embarrassment. It was his first kiss, after all.

Naiwan namang nakatulala ang babae na pulang pula ang pisngi na kagaya ni Rian.

"Did you heard a cat knocked something off in there?"

Nakakunot noong tanong ni Rain kay Sophia ng makita niyang nakaabang ito sa kanya.

"Oh!—really? Wala naman akong narinig!"

Napangiwing sagot ni Sophia habang sekretong nahilot ang nasaktang balakang.
