"Walking Distraction!"

Sophia was absentmindedly tapping her pen loudly. 

Her thought was somewhere else while sitting in the conference room kasama nang president and representatives ng M&M groups, subcontractor and suppliers.

They were all anxious and worried dahil sa mood and expression ng amo nila. Para silang mga kiti-kiti na di mapakali sa upuan.

He said he's going to get married soon. .he said he is going to get married soon. .

She heard like a tiny voice thats keep on repeating in her brain.

"We don't have a choice . .

"How dare you?" 

Wala sa sariling naihampas niya ang kamay sa mesa na ikinagulantang nilang lahat.

"Pa. .pardon?" 

"I mean. ." 

anyang napahawak sa noo.

 "You said you don't have a choice, is that right?"

She said ng makabawi. When did she become so distracted? Pati trabaho niya naapektuhan na, bigla bigla nalang sisingit sa systema niya yong hinayupak na lalaki.

She was never been so distracted like this, not untill the major walking distraction came in her way.

They all nod their heads like a fool, na ikinainit na naman ng kanyang ulo.

"So all of you here. .didn't have that goddamned choice, is that what you people supposed to mean?

"We are all under a predicament. .we. .we just took some preventive measures!" 

What Preventive measures?—My ass! She thought angrily. This bunch of liars.

"So all of you here?" 

Anyang nagkibit balikat habang pinipigil ang galit. 

"What a coincidence, at talagang lahat kayo?"

Natahimik ang lahat while she continued.

"Mga presidente ba talaga kayo ng kompanya ninyo? or you guys were all, just a bunch of random crooks?

"How dare you?" 

Di mapigilian ng isa sa mga naroon ang pumalag sa pang iinsulto niya.

"How dare me, Huh? —Mr. Soles?"

She said while glaring at the man imperiously.

"You all think I'm stupid. .that I don't really have, even a slightest idea what is going on here? Don't forget who I am! I never became my grandfather's successor, for nothing!"

She continued.

"You all think na hindi ko alam mga ginagawa ninyo? You people stabbed us behind our back, with out even thinking the impact!"

They were all gasped in shocked kung paano nya nalaman ang confidential information na kagaya nito.

"How much did Mr. Amparo pay for you dignities? What about the lives of the people working in your company?"

Nagkatinginan at nagbulungan silang lahat.

"He threaten us!"

"Threaten to what? To kill you or pulled down your companies into bankruptcy, is that what he said?"

"Yes. .

"Its seem like that. .

Komento ng iba. Marahas siyang napabuga ng hangin.

"Are you all become stupid or something to believe this nonsense?"

Nahawakan niya bigla ang kanyang noo, parang gusto niyang iuntog ang mga ito.

"He had a trump card against M&M and you.!"

"Oh?" she may appear to be amused, but she silently clenched her fist.

"How many people will be sacrifice in this stupid game!" 

anyang napapailing. "Do you all think our company will collapse, dahil sa inyo?"

Nagkatinginan at nagbubulungan na naman silang lahat.

"We are not going to collapse, sa tingin ninyo kayo lang ba ang maaasahan namin? There were plenty of competent subcontractor and supplier sa bansa. We patronized, you out of our respect!"

"We could not gamble, we are all businessmen, after all!" 

Mr. Hong said. He is the president of Cement inter. Corp isa sa mga subcontractor ng M&M groups.

"So this isn't a negotiation? After all this stupid talking..then fine!"

She said while gritting her teeth. This time hindi na niya itinago ang galit.

"M&M groups were giving up, lahat kayo na naririto will meet our legal team right after this meeting. The company will sue, each of you for breaching the contract and you might, as well pay the companies lost and damages!"

"But we are not aware of this!"

One of them, blurted out.

"Its not my problem!" she said with finality.

Paalis na sana sya ng marinig ang isa sa kanila.

"well Mr. Amparo promised to recommend us, in Accuesta Empire!"

Accuesta na naman? Punong puno na talaga sya sa kababanggit nila sa lintik na may kinalaman sa damuhong na lalaki.

But nevertheless, hindi sya nagpatinag. She stop and smiled wickedly with out even looking at them.

"ah. .so that's it? Mr. Amparo made that empty promised! What a pathetic piece of trash!" 

Anya bago iniwang nakatulala ang mga ito.

Its not true na hindi maapektuhan ang companya sa ginawang pag back out ng kanilang subcronstructor and supplier but no way she'll give them the satisfaction lalo na't involved na naman ang mga Accuesta.

Bukas na niya poproblemahin ito, she'll have enough for today at malamang makakapatay na siya kung saka sakaling may mang iinis pa sa kanya.
