Gyubin was surprised when Wooju gave up his bedroom for her.

It seemed like it had been decided in advance since she saw her luggage there— even the clothes, shoes, and accessories that Choi Ira showed her before were placed on the bed.

But why?

"I can just use the second master bedroom, Wooju-ssi," Gyubin said. "You said all rooms have an en-suite bathroom anyway. That's all I need."

Wooju shook his head. "My bedroom has the best protection in the entire room. There are rare and expensive protective Items in every corner. So, in case our house is attacked, you'll be safe as long as you're here."

Gyubin was touched.

First, Wooju called the penthouse "their" house.

Second, he didn't hesitate to give up the safest part of the house to her.

Wooju gave her a small smile, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared. "I think the shared Status Window only pops up when your task involves me and my help."

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience…"

She just smiled and hid the fact that the situation was making her uncomfortable.

Gyubin smiled and nodded. "Of course— it's fine with me."

The huge bed looked inviting, so she threw herself on it.

Of course, she was already in her pajamas since her husband let her take a shower first.

Ah, the mattress is really soft.

It was a bit cold, so she 'hid' under the fluffy duvet.

Gyubin refused to fall asleep without saying good night to Wooju, so she kept herself busy. "System, show me the basic skill set that I need to arrange or something."

It was a task that she had been putting off lately because she was lazy.

Of course, the System ignored her complaints.

Gyubin almost had a heart attack when she heard Wooju's voice.

Wooju looked younger and cuter while drying his hair with a towel, and he became more adorable when he tilted his head to one side as if he was wondering why Gyubin was looking at him that way. "Are you going to jump my bones?"

"My self-control is S-Class," Gyubin said, clearing her throat. And then she avoided his gaze. "Anyways, the System asked me to distribute points to my basic skills."

"You're only doing that now?"

"I'm lazy when it comes to things I don't care about."

"I can tell," Wooju said lightheartedly, and then he sat on his side of the bed. "What do you want the most among the basic skills granted to you?"

"The Visual/Appearance part, of course," Gyubin said, half-joking and half-serious. "I wonder if my boobs and butt will get bigger if I distribute all my bonus points to my appearance."

"Pfft."

Hmm?

Gyubin didn't expect it, but when she turned to Wooju, she saw him laughing out loud.

And oh lala.
