Amon appeared beside Elizabeth and Michael.

His gaze was fixated on the explosion which had just engulfed Daniel whole.

Of course, it was not that big of an explosion. And he was sure that Daniel was still fine.

Keeping his gaze on the smoke, Amon tugged the void thread that was coiled around Michael's ankle.

The thread perfectly coiled around and a tiny searing sound was heard as soon as it connected.

Michael snapped back to his senses and he immediately disintegrated the thread.

It was necessary.

Since Daniel chose him as his target rather than Michael this time, Solaran wouldn't wake him up.

His herald was perfectly safe so he had no reason to.

But this was why Amon created the thread.
