Xavier ordered Leo to keep an eye on the investigation Robert and Jack would be conducting about the missing money. He instructed Leo to inform him immediately if anything significant came up or if more money disappeared.

"I will track down the money," Xavier said. Selene didn't bother to ask how; she just let him handle it, trusting his capability to get the job done.

Xavier excused himself and headed to his study room, leaving Selene to ponder about what could be happening in her company. 

Someone had been stealing money under Robert's nose and he didn't even notice it. 

'It's only someone close to him that could do this. Someone he wouldn't doubt could betray him like this.' Selene wondered to herself. 

Selene tried to think of who but she couldn't think of anyone at the office she knew would do it. 

Half an hour later, Xavier returned from his study room, his face solemn and dark as he stared at Selene who was anticipating his response.
