Aiden's eyes went wide, and so did those of everyone who heard Zoren's quiet yet hair-raising voice. The beautiful cadence of his words paled in comparison to the stifling aura he was emitting.

Did he really say… he would decapitate him?

Aiden wasn't even tried — his charges weren't even filed yet — but this man had already sentenced him to death!

"Hehehe…" The only person who wasn't scared or shocked by Zoren's remark was Penny. She cupped her flushed face, giggling and fawning over her husband.

When Hugo heard her giggle, he slowly turned to her. His eyes were a mix of anger and frustration; he wished he had moved faster than Zoren because all he wanted was to punish the person who had harmed his family. But after hearing her giggle, disbelief flickered in his eyes.
