But the peace was short-lived.
A heavy sound, like a low rumble, came from beside him. Johan turned his head sharply, his eyes widening at the sight of a massive creature covered in golden-green scales standing nearby, watching him with sharp, piercing eyes. Before Johan could gather his thoughts, the creature spoke.
"I must admit," said Zeronos, the green dragon guardian of the forest, in a calm yet commanding tone, "your body's ability to adapt is far faster than I anticipated."
