Jean, Cyclops and Logan all exited the blackbird jet and were staring in confusion at the group of children and teenagers huddled around an uncomfortable Tomura.
"Uh these are all mutant kids" he clarified "I'm not sure you guys save normal kids right?" Tomura shouted.
Logan scowled while ignoring Tomuras statement "The hells going on" he said as he walked towards the group. He came to a complete stop though when he saw the sheer size of the hole in the ground and turned to Tomura. "You better have an explanation."
Tomura turned around and pointed at the hole "Stryker" Logan looked like he already understood. Jeans eyes met Tomuras as soon as he had mentioned Strykers name.
"What? Did you say Stryker?" She said in a confused tone. Cyclops quickly came over and looked at the gigantic death trap in surpirse.
"Can't we go over this when the future assassins to be are all safe and sound." He said as he pointed towards the children all circling him.
Jean nodded and started to herd the children over to the black jet.
"Is this one knocked out?" Cyclops voice rang out.

It only took them less than ten minutes to fly between Canada and New York, in that ten minute flight he never really found a moment to actually explain what happened.
The kids seemed to be crowding him, the one with the shark head was asking him constant questions but honestly Tomura enjoyed it.
The look in the kids eyes as he asked about his mutation was…well it was inspiring.
He didn't notice Jeans smile, Logan's smirk or Cyclops surprised laughter.
The Jet landed with a thud, the doors opened and Storm was waiting for them. "Come children" she waved to them, most followed but Laura and a couple other kids stayed around Tomura.
Tomura awkwardly smiled and nodded at the kids "Yeah, uh storms nice" he had never once spoken to the women before in his life "she'll take care of you" the kids trotted off at his words almost despondently.
"Laura you gotta stay here though" Tomuras voice rang out and the girl almost seemed to sigh in relief as she retuned.
"Why? Won't she be better off with storm?" Logan asked the teenager who was waving Laura over to him.
"No, she's needed to help explain this whole thing, trust me she's solid" Tomura said as the girl walked over.
"How old is she? 12 what do you mean she's solid?" Cyclops said as he stared at the teenager.
Tomura sighed "She doesn't know how old she is, listen just trust me. Let's find Xavier and get it all out."
Cyclops nodded, "Follow me" he said as walked towards the school. Laura stuck by Tomuras side while Logan walked ahead next to Cyclops.
As Tomura looked around the grounds he winced, the grass had grown back already but the trees, flowers and everything else that made this garden so peaceful was gone.
Jean walked to his right and whispered "You killed Stryder?" Her tone was quite harsh.
"Yeah, and if your going through her memories, I assume you know what the guy was doing" he whispered back with a sharp tone of his own.
It was a tense few seconds of silence before Jean spoke again.
"Well, yes…I'm more annoyed you just didn't tell us you knew where he was" she said back.
Tomura turned his head in surprise "You wanted to kill him too?"
Jean almost rolled her eyes "No, but you came pretty close to being shot in that big head of yours" she berated.
Tomura sighed as he continued walking through the school, he noticed that several members of staff and the older students gave him not so nice looks when they walked by.
Jean noticed, she used to get those looks too when she first joined. Her powers were out of control, so sometimes she'd accidentally give everyone nightmares or smash windows.
But she didn't exactly create a several mile long, couple hundred feet deep crater where the school used to be.
Tomuras head dropped and he clenched his jaw, Jean looked over to him slightly worried. "Well, something terrible did happen" his tone was low, he was devasted.
Jeans eyes widened "What?"
Tomura swallowed and met her eyes with his own emotion filled red ones. His hand reached back to his cloak and took it off his shoulder and pointed at it.
"They…ripped my cloak." His voice was full of anguish as he looked down at his cloak.
Tomuras lucky Jean didn't kill him on the spot.

They were all sat in Xavier's office around a large desk, Laura looked stupid sat in the giant chair, Tomura felt like laughing everytime he looked over.
"So, Tomura your back. Your mind is, well…better than the last time I saw you I hope?" Xavier asked, Tomura snorted.
"Yeah, a little bit better" he said as he surveyed the room.
"Good to hear, Now will you explain the 20 new lovely students in my halls?" Xavier said with a smile.
Tomura took a deep breath "I mean it's a pretty long story?" Xavier hummed.
"Well, we can do it via telepathy? It will be simple, let Jean simply pick the story from your head and then she will send it to everyone here" Tomura shrugged that sounded fine.
"Okay Jean" he tapped his head.
Jean rolled her eyes "Just think hard about the whole story and I should be able to pick it up"
When you thought about something very intensely it was easy to pick up even with mind barriers in place.
Tomura nodded and started to concentrate on the story, he started to replay it in his head. Starting when he asked for Jeans blood-
Tomura winced, that hurt. After nearly a whole minute of processing the information, Jean with wide eyes sent the story to everyone in the room.
Not including Laura who was half asleep.
Jeans reaction was wide eyed surpirse, Cyclops was hard to tell given his massive visors, Logan's was to simply stare at Laura with shock painted on his face, Xavier's was a simple humm.
Xavier was the one who spoke first "That, was incredibly foolish" Tomura bristled and narrowed his eyes "Tomura, you did save those children but if you had let us know then we would've joined you. You nearly died."
Xavier tried to reinforce his point "We came very close today, to not only lose such a promising Mutant such as yourself but also losing those children."
Tomuras fists clenched, he was right.
"Listen Tomura I don't wish to offend, I am a teacher at heart. You need to learn that we, the X-Men are here to help, not only you either, but the whole world."
Xavier had more to say, about the excessive deaths but he did not want to burn bridges between him and Tomura so quickly.
Tomura nodded, he hated to admit it but the professor was right. He should've logically contacted them.
He thought back to that day when Jean mentioned Stryder and remembered what he had done to the man.
He still didn't regret a thing.
He turned his head and saw Cyclops nodding. Cyclops stood and turned to Logan with an odd look in his eye, then he turned to Tomura "Good job Tomura, next time call us along." He then left the room.
Huh, he didn't expect that.
Tomuras eyes then went to Logan who was staring straight at Laura. Tomura stood up, gave Xavier a nod and left the room, he didn't want to be awkward. Jean followed behind and the door to the office shut with a click.
He went to leave but his arm was grabbed by Jean who pulled him back, he stumbled and met her narrowed eyes.
"So, were you ever going to mention the blood sample being for some serum?" Jean said as her eyes narrowed even more.
