173. Unown Again

Coming up from the close foothills of Mt. Silver, Ash and his party finally arrived at the actual Mt. Silver!

"Big Brother, what do you think that is?" This time, it was the little Molly who discovered the incident first, again like many other time.

High over in the sky, above everyone's heads, something similar to a space gate appeared, and then a small BLACK Pokémon suddenly fell from it.

Everyone was already familiar with this little guy. It was an Unown, and it just happens to be the letter "G" that Ash happened to lack!

Previously in the incident with Phantom Entei and Molly, Ash subdued 28 Unown and helped Ash become a sort of Green Lantern. Among these 28 Unown, "?" and "!" as well as "G", "L" and "P" were missing.

A pink light flashed in Ash's eyes and he tried to catch the falling Unown with his Psychic powers.

Just a single Unown was no different than a Magikarp, well maybe a little stronger than a Magikarp.

"Huh?" Ash frowned. At the moment when he caught the Unown with his Psychic, he seemed to feel the mood or something belonging to that Unown.

Not only that, he also saw a place where only Unown exists, and the world that belongs to these Unown's were a completely separate plane of existence that is only connected to this world by a Space-Time Gate. Countless were Unown were constantly spinning and moving inside with their eyes all closed.

"This Unown seems to be feeling unwell, so it was separated from its companions!"

Ash put it down and held it in his hands without saying to them anything that he saw. Kolly was very curious about it taht she came over and touched the sick Unown, "Really hot, Unown must feel very bad. I think Unown has a fever!"

Latias also came closer, revealed her true form, and released a pink light towards Unown!

"Heal Pulse?" Brock recognized this move almost instantly. This move is indeed a very effective healing skill. Latias does have many auxiliary skills that she can use to help her partners.

However, Heal Pulse can only restore some of the energy, but not really all to reduce the high fever it has.

There was no Pokémon Center nearby since they were already preety high up in the mountains, it would take them around three hours to go back to the Pokémon Center they came from. So the group decided to stop and slowly wait for Unowns fever to subside on its own. As it was getting dark all around them, the group set up camp on the spot for now.

Larvitar and Molly especially take good care of this Unown.

Of course, Molly and Unown have the most special relationship of anyone that Ash ever saw. This is a research topic that her father, Professor Hale, is still investigating to this very day, even though this is the very thing that almost ended his life not even a year ago.

It was the Unowns who sensed Molly's sad heart before, which caused the whole Crystal Tower incident.

Of course, a single Unown like this cannot do such a thing now all alone without all his other partners.

"Unown, don't worry. Big Brother is the most powerful person I know. He will definitely help you get back to your home with the rest of your companions!" Molly happily comforted Unown.

Ash did have a solution for this. After Unown fever subsides, he will take it to the Pokémon Center and call Professor Oak to help send a few of his own Unowns over, and then with their help, he can send this one back.

When the little G Unown heard Molly's soft soothing voice, Unown floated up, looked at Molly and Ash with its big eyes, then fell again and lay down weakly.

Lil G was very polite to them and even knows how to express it's gratitude toward them.

Larvitar covered Lil G with his own blanket and put away the towel on his EYE. After doing all this, he patted Unown gently, as if to comfort it to have a good night rest.

Seeing it like this, Brock smiled and said, "Looks like Larvitar really does care about Unown very much!"

"That's right, he may have seen himself in the Unown who was separated from its companions!" Misty understands Larvitar's feelings very well, and now he is even waiting for Unown to recover fully and be able to say goofye to it.

The night soon passed and Unown was able to regain his lost energy.

Now suspended in the air, flipping up and down, and circling Larvitar, the two of them have become very good friends in a very short time.

"Larvitar, you did a good job this time!" Misty walked over and praised him, but he immediately became stiff again after hearing Misty's complement to him.

This time it was Unown who was worried about Larvitar. At this moment, Lil G suddenly burst out with a dazzling white light, covering Ash and everyone else's, including their Pokémon, whole body!

"Ash/Big Brother!" Misty, Brock and Molly suddenly exclaimed, feeling afraid by the sudden situation in front of them.

Although they couldn't see each other, they could hear each others voices, "It's okay, chill, this is just one of Unown's moves, Hidden Power!"

When Ash opened his eyes again, he found himself standing on top of a half a gray-green eggshell!

"Ash/Big Brother!" Misty, Brock and Molly also sat on such eggshells and moved closer to him.

"No, Togepi is not with us anymore!" Misty suddenly yelled out loud after noticing at.

"Pikachu and Sister Latias too!" Molly was most worried about Latias.

But Ash remained his usual calm self, "Don't panic, everything is fine. This should be the space built by Unown's Hidden Power. If I guess correctly, this should be Larvitar's inner world!"

"Ash is right. When Unown was shining just now, he was playing and holding Larvitar!" Brock also agreed with Ash's theory point of where they are.

With the experience of Molly's Crystal Tower, everyone now thought that Ash's guess is right because he was the most knowledgeable about these Pokémon's!

But now the first thing is to find Pikachu and the others inside of this!

At this moment, a huge figure in the distance approached them. Soon, a very big Pikachu stood in front of Ash and the rest of his group.

Why is it so big in here?

Ash easily jumped up and stood on top of his Pikachu's head!

Immediately afterwards, Togepi also became the same size as Pikachu, and still ran towards Misty as if asking for a hug.

Such a huge size difference frightened Misty by a lot.

Fortunately, Pikachu's tail stopped Togepi from continuing to harass Misty.

"Boom!"

A red super-large plane flew over with a huge gust of wind. It was Latias in her real form just much larger!

"Haha, Latias, you've grown so big too!"

It was a bit difficult for Latias to carry Ash with Latias's small size, but now it's not a problem at all.

Now that everyone was here, Ash stood up on his Latias's head, Brock sat on Pikachu's head, and Misty sits on Togepi's crown head.

"Alright, let's go!"

Ash had to say that this experience is truly a very unprecedented one, Pokémon's are truly magical in every sense of the way!

After taking a few steps, everyone noticed that the scenery in front of them changed over again and again!

Tyranitar, Entei, Slowking… Various Pokémon appeared one after another. These are what Larvitar saw and heard during his journey with Ash and his party after he was born.

Then, they came to the big gray-green egg. The huge egg was taller than Ash and his group by a long shot. It was riddled with holes and had a black thorn sticking out of it.

"What is this?" This black thorn was really uncomfortable to look at. Molly couldn't help but go up and touch it, but she was suddenly sucked in when she got too close!

"Molly!" Ash reacted the fastest and grabbed Molly's feet. But suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind, "Everyone, grab on to me quickly!"

Although they didn't know why, Misty and Brock didn't hesitate at all and hurried over and grabbed Ash'h clothes.

Then Ash's feet relaxed, and the group was easily sucked into the black thorn.

Seeing that the situation was not good, Pikachu jumped in too. Latias did not hesitate and quickly followed with Togepi following her!
