Marissa didn't respond. She was sitting motionless on that couch.

"The lunch is about to arrive. You must be very hungry!" Marissa slowly moved her head to look at him.

"You didn't eat anything. Right? You were lying when you said Shang Chi brought pasta for you."

With a confused face, she got up and walked to him, "Yes. I lied. And I wanted to mur*der you. Now I can't decide if I should kill you or have lunch with you."

He was thrown off balance by the remark, "Marissa…"

"No, tell me, Rafael. How do you manage that?" she went closer to him and hugged him tightly. He stood there taken aback, not understanding what got into her.

She wasn't making much sense.

"What's the confusion, love," he gave her shoulders a little nudge, "Is it due to the presence of those lawyers? No need to worry about anything. Everything will fall back into place." 

She tilted back her head to look into his eyes, "Thank you."
