Wilder Brigg Arrives

Alex and Lucius slowly stepped off the corpse of the beast with a look of shock on their faces. This was the hardest battle of their lives, and they were more exhausted than excited even though they won.

"We did it… We killed a Tiger threat-level beast!" Alex was ecstatic.

He watched as the beast lay lifeless, blood sipping out of its skull and slowly spreading everywhere.

Not only did he redeem his honor by killing this beast, but he successfully avenged those killed by the beast. 

[The power this beast must possess… Imagine it was yours…] Lyxor said in a low but soothing tone. 

Lucius frowned as he desperately tried to shake the voice off his head. He wasn't sure if this was Lyxor speaking or the Devour inheritance, but he desperately needed to silence the voice in his head.

Thud!

Lucius's strange actions caught everyone's attention, and they watched him retreat by a few steps, his hands placed on his head.
