Chapter 309 Triangle, Circle and Vertical Line

Andy looked back at Isabel.

The little girl had that thieving look on her face; as if the three of them were going to steal.

At first glance, she looked like a thief!

"Newcomers well ..."

Andy said smilingly, "The first adventure is like this. When you experience more in the future, you will get better with experience."

Hermione blushed slightly, somewhat embarrassed.

Before, she hadn't felt anything, but after seeing Isabel's current appearance, Hermione could imagine how obvious she had looked at the time.

Just the way Isabel looked now, anyone who saw her could guess that she was going to do something bad.

The Godric's Hollow graveyard was behind the church, and through a narrow gate, one could see rows of headstones lined up in the light blue graveyard, with the surnames of the ancient wizarding families engraved all over them.

It was worth mentioning that the Collins family's graveyard was also here.

"Let's look for it!" Andy said.

"Hmm! I'll go over there," Hermione said, pointing to the right side of the cemetery.

"Isa, you follow me." Andy took Isabel's small hand and walked towards the left side of the graveyard.

"Andy, what are we looking for?" Isabelle asked with excitement. Probably because she was overly excited, the little girl's voice was a little shaky.

"Potter, Gaunt, and Peverell."

After thinking about it, Andy added, "And Dumbledore."

"Andy, look!" Isabel suddenly paused, pointing to a tombstone to gesture to Andy to look at it.

[Where the treasure is, there the heart is.]

Andy looked at the name on the tombstone.

Ariana Dumbledore.

Kendra Dumbledore.

Andy was silent for a moment before pulling Isabel to his side and whispering, "Let's go!"

Andy was curious only about Albus Dumbledore, and his secret of power. For the Dumbledore family, Andy however didn't want to pry too much.

As they looked around the graveyard, Hermione suddenly shouted, "Andy, Isa! You guys come over quickly."

Andy hurriedly pulled Isabel over.

"Look, guys!" Hermione said as she pointed to a tombstone.

[The last enemy you need to face is death.]

It was the headstone of the Potters.

"And over there." When she said that, Hermione's tone had a hint of excitement that she couldn't hide.

Ignotus Peverell.

Seeing this name, Andy's pupils instantly shrunk.

I didn't expect to really find it.

And from the distance of these two tombstones, the Potter family and Peverell were indeed related.

There were tombstones of the Potter family all over this area.

"And this mark!" Hermione lowered her voice and said with slight excitement, "Andy, we found it."

Andy noticed it too.

A triangle encased a circle, and in the middle of the triangle, there was a vertical line inserted straight into the circle.

This was the mark of the Deathly Hallows!

Andy watched quietly.

The legend of the Deathly Hallows actually had two possibilities.

The first one, just like what was depicted in the story, the Deathly Hallows was related to Death.

The second, the Deathly Hallows, might just be magical items crafted by the three Peverell brothers. And the legend of the Deathly Hallows might have only emerged around these inventions.

After all, eating melons is a hobby of all mankind.

In fact, just judging from Harry's invisibility cloak, it doesn't seem to function any differently than the Disillusionment Charm. As for whether the invisibility cloak has any more powerful functions, that will have to be researched to find out.

As for the Resurrection Stone ... Andy also doesn't think it can really bring the dead back to life.

Otherwise, the magic world would have already broken into pieces over it.

Legends have been around for so long, but Andy has never heard of anyone in the magic world who has come back from the dead.

Even Voldemort couldn't manage to come back from the dead - after all, his current state wasn't really considered dead.

As for the Elder Wand ... it might only improve a wizard's spellcasting ability, nothing more.

Analysing from these functions, the so-called Deathly Hallows weren't even a bit superior to Philosopher's Stone. By insisting that they were related to the Death, it seemed to be a bit too underestimating the power of the gods.

However, this was the only clue Andy could find at the moment that was related to the gods.

Regardless of whether it was true or false, Andy couldn't ignore it.

Especially ... power, resurrection, and invisibility, these abilities were obviously related to the Death.

"Perhaps, we should pay a visit to Mrs Bagshot." Andy suddenly said.

"Now?" Hermione turned her head to look at Andy.

"Tomorrow!" Andy said.

Andy remembered that Gellert Grindelwald had once come to Godric's Hollow for the reason of visiting his aunt, Mrs Bagshot.

It was also at that time Dumbledore befriended Grindelwald.

Visiting his aunt was indeed a good reason.

But ... what if it was to find the Deathly Hallows?

Since Godric's Valley had news of the Deathly Hallows, Andy had reason to suspect this.

In fact, Andy could also ask Dumbledore.

But Andy had already guessed Dumbledore's answer.

The Headmaster's answer must be the second one, and he would seriously tell Andy that the three Peverell brothers were all powerful wizards who made three powerful magical items before the legend of the Deathly Hallows came into being.

But then again.

The magic civilisation is supposed to be constantly progressing, and there isn't any discontinuity in the middle of it. So why, then, could the people before them create these powerful magical items while the people after them couldn't?

Lack of materials?

Andy recalled the story of the three brothers again.

The Death in the story did not directly kill the three brothers and make them his sacrifice. Instead, he used a plot and trick to take the lives of the oldest and the second at the hands of others.

As for the Third, he should have died of old age.

From that point of view, Death didn't seem to have the ability to kill people directly.

"What are you thinking?" Hermione looked at Andy curiously.

Andy explained his speculation, and then said bitterly, "Actually, I've always suspected that the history of the magical world has been artificially altered."

"Just like the history of the Muggle world."

"Before the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy Act was introduced, wizards and muggles lived together for a long time, and wizards didn't hide their abilities."

"And some powerful wizards, they might have worked for Muggle royalty, as Merlin did."

"But none of those were recorded!"

Hermione listened quietly.

If it was just the history of the wizarding world, Hermione might have argued back. But in the history of the Muggle world ... wizards and magic had long since become the stuff of legend.

Keep in mind that the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy Act came into effect in 1689, which was only three hundred years ago.

Wizards' magic is capable of altering Muggle's history.

Simply by removing the things that were written down on paper, time would make wizards and magic into legends.

Hermione nodded, "As long as history isn't recorded on paper, time will make people forget that. But wizards and muggles have been living together for so many years, it's impossible that there are no records at all."
