Chapter 43 Night outs are a Hogwarts tradition

Andy is actually not a person who would lose patience with little children, Andy has actually coaxed many children in his two lives.

But coaxing a child is coaxing a child, it does not mean that Andy is willing to be friends with a child.

Well...except for a little mature kid.

Whether it was the three roommates, or Harry and Ron, Andy tried to minimize the time he spent with them.

As for Hermione...

If it wasn't for the fact that Hermione also loved to learn, and could give Andy company when he was learning magic, Andy didn't think he would spend so much time with a little girl.

Talking and laughing helped relieve the fatigue from studying, which was why Andy was willing to spend time with Hermione.

"Heh!"

Andy unconsciously touched his wand.

Pine wood, phoenix tail feather!

The wand chooses the wizard.

"Maybe this wand chose me because that's what I am!"

Independent, even to the point where one might consider it being isolated.

After living at Hogwarts for half a month, it wasn't like Andy hadn't spoken to the upperclassmen, and had maintained interpersonal relationships quite well.

However, Andy had never considered someone other than Hermione as a friend.

The paths were different.

They were studying magic to get a job after graduation, while Andy was studying magic to gain immortality through magic and explore the true meaning of magic.

Maybe they would find Andy's life boring, practising magic every day besides studying.

But Andy would also feel that they were wasting their talent, obviously having the opportunity to learn magic, but choosing to live like a muggle.

But people had their own aspirations, and everyone pursued life differently.

Andy wouldn't say that their lives were meaningless, but it was also hard to join in their boring topics.

Walking into the great hall, Andy habitually sat next to Hermione.

It is better to be a little witch, Andy recently discovered another advantage of Hermione - her memory is really good.

Andy would only memorize the key points of a book when he read it, but Hermione had literally memorized the entire book.

So sometimes when Andy asked Hermione some questions, she was able to accurately say the answer, and it was word for word the same as what was written in the book.

That speed she helps was simply faster than Doraemon.

The little witch is really helpful.

"What do they want with you? They wouldn't be asking you to do something bad, would they?" The little witch felt that she and Andy were friends, and she had the obligation to pull Andy back to the right path.

"I didn't help them." Andy gave the little witch a reassuring look, I am a little wizard who grew up bathing in the light of the righteous path, how could I possibly do something bad?

You do understand me.

"Then you didn't say anything strange to them, did you?" Hermione was still a little uneasy.

She knew Andy, Andy wouldn't do bad things himself, but he would trick others into doing bad things.

"I said less than five words in total." Andy looked at Hermione with a sincere face.

Hermione stopped asking, she felt that five words couldn't fool a person at all.

On the other side.

After Andy left, Ron and Harry looked at each other: what should we do now?

"Why don't we... we go and sack Malfoy?"

Ron suggested, "It's not like Malfoy can see us anyway, and he doesn't know who hit him."

Harry thought for a moment and finally nodded.

Harry wasn't really a vindictive person, and he generally didn't like messing with Malfoy.

But this time was different.

He had only just arrived at Hogwarts less than a week ago, and he had already slashed a hundred points from Gryffindor.

It made him feel utterly ashamed.

Plus, Ron was constantly persuading...

This humiliation had to be recovered anyhow.

At Night.

After waiting for his roommate to fall asleep, Andy got up from his bed, put on his clothes, and walked out of the Ravenclaw dormitory alone.

Taking out his wand, Andy cast the Disillusionment Charm on himself.

This spell was very difficult. Before he even enrolled in school, Andy had asked Helen to teach him this spell, but it was only two days ago that Andy had completely mastered it.

Tonight, Andy was going to step on the restricted section of the library.

Andy still remembered the episode in the film where Harry explored the restricted section of the library at night. Cloaked in an invisibility cloak, Harry broke into the restricted section as if he had entered his own home.

So Andy wanted to make sure if it was only Harry or if it was the same for everyone.

It was a smooth trip, which means that he didn't encounter the professor on night patrol, nor did he encounter Filch's cat.

"Alohomora!"

When he walked into the library, it was silent. Andy closed the library door with a backhand and waved his wand once more.

"Lumos!"

Once here, it was basically safe.

Andy walked over to the restricted section, where there was only a rope dividing the restricted section from the regular ones, other than that there were no protective measures.

Andy touched the rope with his wand.

"It seems fine."

Andy still didn't dare to be careless as he carefully walked through the rope and entered the restricted section of the library.

In and out, in and out, in and out...

Andy had tried several times repeatedly, and it seemed like there were no protection measures here other than a rope.

"But in that case, is there any point in establishing a restricted section? There's only a rope here, so wouldn't just anyone be able to come over and read a book?" Andy was a bit puzzled.

"Of course, there is a purpose!"

A voice suddenly sounded in the darkness, almost scaring Andy to death.

"Who?"

Turning back, the first thing Andy saw was the white beard that hung down to the chest, and the half-moon-shaped glasses that were still reflecting light in the darkness.

Andy looked at himself again, the Disillusionment Charm had failed at some point.

Finished!

Andy shrugged his shoulders in resignation, but he wasn't too nervous.

Trespassing into the restricted section at night, the big deal, was just a deduction of points.

"Even if there's only a rope here, not many young wizards would want to come here to read books."

Dumbledore explained to himself, "They always like to be mischievous, and it's hard for them to settle down to learn more."

"But there are also some young wizards who are not satisfied with what is in the textbooks and are eager to learn more."

"Hogwarts was established to spread knowledge, not to keep it to oneself."

Andy understood.

To summarize in one simple sentence, learning is all about self-motivation.

"Good night, Headmaster Dumbledore." Andy greeted. "Still up this late?"

Dumbledore blinked, "Aren't you up too?"

"I came to visit the restricted section," Andy admitted frankly.

It was the art of speaking.

I stayed up to check out the restricted section, so what about you?

"One is always prone to insomnia in old age." Dumbledore looked as if he was somewhat distressed.

"Well…! Older people are indeed like this, my grandfather also had insomnia a lot. I'm going to head back...good night, Headmaster." Andy was ready to slip away.

No one can deduce my points as long as I slip away fast.

"The reason we have the restricted section partitioned off is because those books contain a lot of dangerous magic. Until you're ready, you should probably restrain your curiosity a little." Dumbledore said slowly.
