Weilan hung up the phone, then took her crutches and quietly went downstairs by herself.

Moving slowly to the stairs, she began her descent, each step taking her a lengthy ten or so minutes.

When she reached the bottom, Song Di had unexpectedly arrived. He appeared at the doorway and, seeing Weilan come out with her crutches, couldn't help but frown and ask, "Where's Hechen?"

"He's upstairs, shh, keep your voice down." Weilan gestured for silence.

Song Di rolled his eyes, "Shh what? The moment I come here, he'll find out."

As they were speaking, Lu Hechen's voice was already heard from the stairs: "Song Di, why are you here?"

Glancing towards Weilan, Lu Hechen's brows furrowed and he said, "Weilan, why did you come down again? Haven't I told you to call me if you needed anything?"

"I need to speak with Song Di, Brother Hechen, you don't need to worry. Go back upstairs," Weilan said, a bit embarrassed, and didn't elaborate further as she glanced at Lu Hechen.
