Chapter 20

Bruce was strapped into a chair and detained. He met with General Ross, the man chasing him for years and the father of Betty. Ross finally captured Banner but he was not happy. All he cared about was his blood to be used to create a super soldier serum to bolster the power of the US military.

Ross came up to Bruce and said "If you took it from me, I'm gonna put you in a hole for the rest of your life."

Bruce was loaded into a helicopter and Betty followed him. Betty despises her father. It is his fault for what happened to Bruce and uses him to cover up his failures and protect his career.

"Betty" said Ross, stopping his daughter.

"I will never forgive what you have done to him. Don't ever speak to me as your daughter ever again." said Betty, she then followed Bruce into the helicopter.

Inside Stern's laboratory was Emil Blonsky, a former special-ops commander who was recruited by Ross to fight the Hulk. Blonsky was in awe of the Hulk's power and desired to possess the god-like abilities that Banner had. He forced Sterns to provide him with whatever had turned Banner into the Hulk.

At present, he is strapped to the same table that Banner had been on, with needles injecting substances into him.

"Having any second thoughts? I don't know what has been injected into you, and the result could be... an abomination." said Stern

"I don't care. Give me the power. As long as I have it, I will be unstoppable."

Blonsky has been injected with a variant of the Super Soldier Serum by Ross's scientists. The combination of Banner's blood, the Super Soldier Serum, and gamma radiation will result in something abominable. However, he is willing to take that risk in order to obtain the god-like power that Banner possesses, or even become more powerful than him.

Stern initiated the procedure, injecting Banner's blood into Blonsky while simultaneously subjecting him to gamma radiation. Blonsky's body began to grotesquely morph and grow in size. His skin turned gray, his bones started to elongate, and his spine began to protrude, forming spikes.

Stern watches his transformation in horror and looks at the abomination he created.

"Let's assume you don't understand a word I'm saying, but if you could just get back on the table. I can fix this."

Abomination smirks at Stern and knocks him out. He grabs the table and hurls it against the wall, smashing a hole through it. The soldiers on the ground rush to investigate the commotion. Spotting Abomination, they mistake him for the Hulk and open fire. Abomination swiftly overpowers them and leaps into the streets of Harlem. As he revels in the surge of power pulsing through his body, a maniacal laughter escapes his lips.

"This power! Is mine! Nothing can stop me! Hulk! Come here and give me a fight!"

Soldiers and police converged on Abomination, firing their weapons at him. However, their guns proved ineffective as the bullets merely tickled Abomination. In the midst of the chaos, a soldier urgently called for backup, requesting Ross' assistance.

"The Hulk is in the streets! I repeat, the Hulk is in the streets! We need back-up!"

Ross was confused. How could the Hulk be causing such havoc when Banner was supposed to be with him? He swiftly directed the pilot to turn back and assess the situation.

"Give me eyes down there soldier."

"Yes sir!"

The soldier activates his camera, providing a live feed to Ross. The footage reveals Abomination rampaging through the streets, effortlessly hurling cars and attacking anyone nearby. Each encounter ends in instant death, and Abomination appears to savor the chaos. Despite the soldiers' efforts, they are powerless to contain him. The destruction spreads rapidly, with buildings ablaze, vehicles demolished, and terrified civilians fleeing amidst the screams. The casualties mount, with many perishing in the crossfire or being crushed by the relentless devastation.

Bruce, Betty, and Ross felt a deep sense of despair as they observed the widespread destruction, empathizing with the people impacted by the devastation.

"One of yours?" asked Bruce

Ross was silent and could not respond

"Oh, my god. What have you done?" said Betty

Abomination looks at the soldier knowing Ross is watching. "Hulk! Come here and give me a real fight."

The feed suddenly disconnected, leaving the atmosphere inside the chopper tense and filled with uncertainty.

Peter and Gwen noticed the destruction and swung toward it. They saw the destruction and all of the dead people. In the center was Abomination continuing to wreak havoc.

"Gwen, I'll distract him and you will save the people."

"Alright, be careful."

Peter webs Abomination's face getting his attention. "Hey, ugly, public indecency is a crime. Especially with your looks."

Abomination gets irritated by Spider-Man's quip. "Stay out of my way!"

Abomination punches Spider-Man but he dodges out of the way.

"No can do. I'm stopping you right here."

"Then die!"

The two are locked in a fierce battle, with Spider-Man dodging as if his life depends on it. A single punch from him would cause significant pain, despite his suit and increased durability. Spider-Man delivers a powerful punch to Abomination, but it doesn't seem to faze him.

"Ouch! What are you made out of?"

"HAHAHAHA, is that all you got!"

While Spider-Man was fighting, Spider-Woman was saving people and clearing them out of the danger zone. She could see many people dying and children crying being separated from their parents. She rescues one of the children and brings her to safety.

"You're going to be okay."

The child clings tightly to Gwen as she swings over to a nearby ambulance. She entrusts the child to the care of the paramedic. George Stacy approaches Spider-Woman to assess the situation.

"Spider-Woman, is everything alright?"

"No, Captain, I'm trying to rescue as many people as I can while Spider-Man is holding that thing off and I don't think he can hold on much longer."

Abomination landed a solid hit on Spider-Man, hurling him toward a car.

"Ugh!"

Spider-Man becomes disoriented and is unable to move for a moment. Abomination approaches him, ready to end his life.

"Prepare to die."

"No! Spider-Man!" Gwen watches in horror as her friend is about to be killed in front of her.

Before Abomination could end Spider-Man's life, rockets suddenly landed behind him, throwing him off balance. He looked to the one responsible and saw Iron Man above him.

Iron Man received Fury's call and immediately rushed to the scene. He was the only available Avenger at the moment, as the rest were on other missions. He had anticipated fighting the Hulk but did not expect to encounter another one.

"Hey man, stand down and things don't have to get ugly."

"Stark" Abomination smiles, realizing he now has a chance to fight an Avenger. If he could defeat Iron Man, it would boost his infamy and the world would soon fear him.

Abomination leaps toward him, but Iron Man moves out of the way. He then shoots repulsor beams and rockets toward Abomination. However, Abomination tanks the shots and sustains little damage.

"Is that all?" mocked Abomination

Suddenly, a car was sent flying toward Abomination, knocking him back. It was Spider-Man hanging beside Iron Man.

"Hey, Mr. Stark. Mind if I help?"

"Sure thing kid."

"I'm also here."

Spider-Woman lands beside Spider-Man joining the fight.

"Is everyone safe?" Spider-Man asked

"Yeah, if we just keep him here the damage won't spread."

"Nice of you to join Spider-Woman. I have heard about you two. Both of you are pretty good."

"Th-Thanks Mr. Stark!"

Peter is a fan of Tony. He idolizes Tony's intelligence and talent for technology. He is always up to date with any Stark Technology releases.

Abomination recovers from the rubble and stares at the trio.

"No matter how many of you there are. No one can stop me!"

Abomination leaps toward them and the three scatter. Spider-Man and Spider-Woman use their webs to try to stop him from moving, but he easily rips the webs. Tony then uses his full arsenal and aims it at him.

"Jarvis, let him have it."

Beams, rockets, and bullets fall on Abomination, and this makes him dizzy for a bit. When the hail of bullets ended Spider-Man and Spider-Woman launched themselves at him using their webs as a slingshot.

"Here is a special knuckle sandwich." said Spider-Woman

They both hit him in the temple and jaw respectively, and this shakes up Abomination quite a bit.

"RARGH! Puny insects!"

Abomination slams his fist down, sending a shockwave that knocks back the two spiders and Iron Man into the air.

"Damn it, after all of that and we barely did anything to him!?" said Spider-Man

"I should really make an armor to contend with him." Tony makes a note to create armor that can defeat beings like the Hulk. That is if he ever survives this.

"HAHAHA, I am unstoppable!"

As Abomination gloated, something fell from the sky and landed on the street, creating a sizable crater. A large, green hand suddenly burst out from the newly formed cavity, and The Hulk emerged, standing to face Abomination.

"ROAR!"

Bruce believed that he was responsible for creating the Abomination and desired for the Hulk to confront him. He leaped out of the chopper from a great height, triggering his transformation. The Abomination welcomed the Hulk's appearance, as it would finally determine who was the strongest of them all.

"Hulk." said Abomination

"Great, the big green guy decided to join in." Tony felt the situation was getting more out of hand. He doesn't know if he should stop the Hulk or not.

"Do you know who he is?" asked Peter to Gwen

"No, but I think he is on our side."

"How do you know that?"

"Just a feeling."

The Abomination and the Hulk charged at each other, leaping for their initial strike. The Abomination tackled the Hulk, sending him hurtling through a bus. After a moment of daze, the Hulk regained his composure. The Abomination looked smugly at the Hulk, reveling in the opportunity to triumph over his adversary, whom he had fought twice before.

"Come on." taunted Abomination

The Hulk seized a nearby police car, tearing it in half and wielding it as a weapon. He relentlessly pounded the Abomination into the ground, causing him to cough up blood, but showing resilience by refusing to yield.

"Is that all you got?"

The Abomination seized the Hulk and began assaulting him, ultimately hurling him through the streets. The Hulk rose sluggishly after crashing through the debris. Before the Abomination could resume the attack, Iron Man intervened, unleashing beams to halt his advance.

"It is a bit insulting for you to forget about us."

Spider-Man and Spider-Woman tried to stall him using their webs.

"Argh! Annoying bugs!" said Abomination

"You know spiders are not bugs but are arachnids. You should study more of Biology." said Gwen

Hulk saw the people helping him. A tin man and two small humans. Humans always feared him and when they pointed their weapons at him he fought back. It was the first time someone helped him, but he has his own pride and doesn't need anyone's help.

"Hulk. Smash!" He starts bashing Abomination and the two spiders backed off.

"Hey, big guy. We're here to help." said Spider-Man

"Hulk. Fight. Alone!"

"That doesn't mean we are not going to help." said Spider-Woman

Spider-Woman swiftly used her webs to trip the Abomination, causing him to stumble, and enabling the Hulk to strike him with a powerful knee. As the Abomination attempted to retaliate, Spider-Man intervened, disrupting his efforts. Iron Man continued to provide backup, shooting blasts to support the team.

"How did I get regulated to being a support?"

"Because you don't have the necessary firepower sir."

"I know Jarvis!"

The Abomination, reaching his limit, backhanded Spider-Man before seizing the Hulk and hurling him into nearby buildings. Subsequently, he grabbed a nearby car and launched it toward Iron Man.

"Jarvis!"

Jarvis took command instantly, evading the oncoming car, but he was caught off guard as the Abomination suddenly leaped at him, delivering a powerful punch toward the ground.

"Jarvis, status report."

"The armor is heavily damaged, sir. Many functions are offline sir."

"And that was from one hit…"

Spider-Woman watched as the impromptu team was swiftly defeated, causing her to grow more and more concerned. The Abomination fixed her with a predatory gaze, like a predator eyeing its prey.

"You're next."

*VROOM*

Suddenly a bike engine was heard and a bike landed between Spider-Woman and Abomination.

"I'm not late, am I?"
