Ch. 76 - Bonds Forming!

"Annnddd that's why I'm here. At your service princess~." Leo bowed his head while teasing Elsa in a sultry tone after she asked why he was here.

"Don't call me that way." Elsa glared at him while her hands were clutching on her skirt.

"I'm sorry....Princess~" Just as Elsa nodded her head in satisfaction as she thought that Leo heed her words, his last word made her punch him on the chest.

Though it's more like punching hard metal.

*Thud!*

"Ah! What are you made of, metal?" Elsa painfully clutched her fist.

"Hahaha! You know, you kind of remind me of someone. She really likes the ocean and freedom. Hopefully, you'll meet her someday." While saying this, a nostalgic look gleamed on Leo's eyes, it's been a year since he last saw Moana and although he could just go back by spending 10,000 Reputation Points, he felt like it would be a waste to spend so much for a single day in her world.

"Really? Can you.....tell me more about her?" Elsa went closer to Leo and became curious about the person that she reminds Leo of.

"Well.....she's also a princess of course, like you and she also doesn't like to be called a princess. She's a very brave woman and also a good cook. No matter how hard the world challenges her, she could persevere and grow." Unbeknownst to Leo, he failed to notice the expression that he was making.

'Why does he look like he's talking about his wife or something?' Just as Elsa was being confused, her eyes suddenly widened in surprise when she remembered the little girl called Luna that the sweet shop cashier mentioned a few days back.

'Is this girl his wife?' Out of suspicion, Elsa was straightforward and asked the question without hesitance.

"Is she your wife? You have a daughter, Luna right?"

"Wife? No no no, she's not my wife. She's too young. As for Luna, how do I say this. She's not my biological daughter, if you get what I mean." Leo scratched his cheek.

"Not your biological daughter?" Elsa tilted her head in confusion, not understanding the word 'Biological'.

"It means she's not blood related to me." Leo cleared up, not bothered by it as he knew that technology especially biology probably hasn't developed much in this world.

Though the same can't be said to technology considering how he's already advancing this world's technological level as Wilson Fisk through his business.

"O-ohhh." Elsa mentally sighed in relief.

'Wait, why did I sigh in relief? It's not like it bothers me, right?'

"Maybe you should also go meet Luna sometimes, she would love to meet you and play with your ice magic." Leo suggested, however Elsa, who has a fair share of experience of what happens when she plays with someone using her ice powers turned stiff.

"I-I uh, don't think that's a good idea." Elsa tucked her hair behind her ear while trying to be polite in rejecting Leo's offer.

"Are you afraid you'll accidentally hurt her?" Unfortunately, Leo could understand her dilemma and wasted no time in exposing her.

"I'm sorry, Leo. I just feel like my powers aren't meant to be played around. It took me a very long time and dedication to control them. However, despite all those training, just one burst of emotion from me causes me to lose all control." At this point, Elsa was bowing her head down while trying her best to hold back the tears from spilling out, flashbacks of her sufferings flashing before her eyes.

Not until she felt something warm pulling her and engulfing her in a hug.

"There, There...." Patting her head, Leo felt like Elsa's hair was silky.

"Sniff. I-I uh, thanks but I don't need it." Sniffing and wiping her eyes, Elsa expressed her gratitude before separating herself from Leo's hug, it's as if she was rejecting him.

'Hm? My charm didn't work?' Leo was mentally stunned and resisted the urge to smash his head, dig on the ground and bury himself for the rest of his life for doing such a thing.

Then there follows Genesis's remark that further smashed Leo's pride into pieces.

[Love isn't that easy, Leo. You can't make a woman fall for you just by a hug when she's sad. Stop comparing real life situations to movies.]

'During these times, I'll appreciate you being quiet, Genesis.'

"I-I'm sorry, I was just trying to-" Leo tries to explain, to at least not destroy the line between him and Elsa. What if she thinks he's trying to make moves on her?

"I-I know what you're trying to do. I appreciate the gesture, truly." Elsa nodded her head and looked at Leo's eyes with gratitude.

"...."

Sensing the weird atmosphere that has formed thanks to him, Leo wanted to slap his past self for being influenced by the drama films and novels that he read.

"So....what else do you do here? It's very early in the morning, do you take classes or something?" Despite the struggle, Leo still managed to find a way to change the subject.

"I already finished my classes just a few months back. As for what I do in the morning. Usually I just walk around Arendelle either by myself or with my sister. Speaking of my sister." While speaking, Elsa's eyes caught the figure of the usual bouncy Anna who is singing again and playing with the servants of the castle.

"La lala lala La~"

"Elsa? Elsa!" At the same time, Anna's eyes also landed on Elsa, before her feet found themselves sweeping through the ground just to reach Elsa.

Only to stop abruptly when she saw the tall man in a red tight suit, wearing a mask hence she couldn't recognize Leo.

"Woah! Hey there big guy, are you uh? Lost or something? You look like you should be in a theatre." Speaking with her usual vigorous attitude, Anna bent down with her hands on her waist while her eyes were stuck on Leo's eyes.

"Good morning to you too." Leo chuckled, while gesturing something for Elsa.

"What? Oh! Uhm, ehem! Leo, this is my sister, Anna. Anna, this is Leo, my....personal bodyguard, or as father calls him since he was the one who hired Leo to be one. He'll be staying with us until my coronation. Father said that many people will likely try to harm us or specifically me now that my coronation is nearing." Elsa explained in a detailed manner.

"Personal Bodyguard? That's the first time I've heard that word. How thoughtful of dad to give you a bodyguard but not me." Anna pretended to look dejected while saying so.

"Well, I could be your Personal Bodyguard also. Protecting two princesses isn't that hard." Leo confidently smirked while flexing his muscle.

"Oh really? Lemme try." Then to Leo and Elsa's shock, Anna went closer to Leo and pinched his biceps while closing her eyes, having a serious look on her face as if what she was doing was important.

"Uhumm~ it's hard. Very hard. The hardest thing I've ever touched!" From the looks of it, Anna was already enjoying herself.

"Anna! Stop it!" Elsa glared at Anna while trying to look intimidating.

"Oohhh, is my sister Jelly? You're getting jelly! Don't worry, sister. I won't touch your boyfriend any more." Anna backed away while casting a teasing look towards Elsa, who blushed heavily.

"H-he's also not my boyfriend!" Elsa quickly retorted, though her stutter just made Anna look more convinced that she was right.

Seeing this look on her face, Leo mentally smirked while sarcastically muttering to Genesis in his mind.

'Were you saying something, Genesis?'

"Alright princesses, no need to fight. How about we take a short walk outside? Anna, I heard you know your way around Arendelle, hopefully you can show me around." Leo suggested as he asks Anna, who in turn beamed up in happiness.

"You should've told me that earlier! Quick! Let's go now, I'll show this park I know, it's always full of dogs and puppies! And also.....couples." Muttering the last word with a wink towards Leo and Elsa, Anna grabbed both of their hands and started running towards the exit.

While Elsa was already used to this kind of treatment from Anna, Leo was not. So he was quite surprised how easygoing Anna is, casually touching a man's hand as if there's nothing to it.

"This here is Aqua!" Once they arrived at the park, Anna wasted no time in enthusiastically introducing the dogs and puppies to both Leo and Elsa.

"He looks cute." Leo remarked.

"Correction. He's a she." Anna corrected without raising her head, glueing her eyes towards Aqua's blue eyes.

"This is the reason why she's named Aqua, because of her unique blue eyes. It's so captivating." Anna spoke, still engrossed in staring at Aqua.

"....Anna, do you like cats also?" Suddenly, Leo had a great idea and asked.

"Cats? Of course! I love cats as much as I love dogs! Why do you ask?"

"Well, I want to introduce you to someone. Come with me." Leo replied before taking the lead.

'Luna has always wanted to have someone to play with. This is a good chance.'
