Spending time with them(Part 1)

<General perspective>

After a long discussion about choosing a name that represented neither good nor evil, they decided to settle on a neutral name.

Ava looked at Elena and Regina, "So, we've decided to name the organization 'Shadow Nexus' and its members 'shadows', with higher-ranking members being called 'shadow guardians'."

Elena nodded, "It doesn't sound evil to me."

Regina also nodded, "And it's cool at the same time."

Ava sighed, "So, what should we change the leader's name to?"

Elena suggested, "Well, we could stick with the name 'Reaper.' I mean, it's related to death in a way, and it sounds dominating."

Ava smiled, "Then everything is confirmed."

Regina looked at Ava and said, "You said I need training to be a member of Shadow."

Ava nodded, "Well, you both need training."

Elena frowned, "Why do I need training?"

Ava asked with a smirk, "Well, do you know how to fight?"

Elena nodded, "I know karate, but I'm only a white belt."

Ava chuckled, "You do know what a white belt means, right?"

Elena got embarrassed as she yelled, "Okay, I need training."

Ava replied, "You both don't have to worry about training until summer vacation is over, and I won't be training you."

Elena and Regina smiled at each other and hugged while thinking, 'Thank goodness she won't be our trainer.'

Ava continued, "Because I need to find a trainer for both of you as I am going to work on something big, and it might take one or two years to complete."

Elena and Regina got curious upon hearing the word 'big' from Ava's mouth. Elena's curiosity got the better of her, "What is this big thing that will take one or two years for you to create?"

Ava smiled and said, "Of course, it's... a surprise."

Elena started working her brain overtime as she guessed, "Is it the organization headquarters?"

Ava sighed, "That's how you ruin a surprise."

Elena smirked, while Regina started imagining the organization headquarters in her mind.

Ava snapped Regina out of her imagination and said, "Miss Dreamer, you wish that the world should know you by your voice and not your looks, right?"

Regina nodded, "Yes, that's what I wish for."

Ava asked, "Then are you willing to be like me?"

Regina got confused, "What do you mean by 'be like you'?"

Ava continued, "I mean be a mysterious singer who hides her face."

Regina felt excited hearing that, "That sounds great to me."

Elena looked at Regina and said, "Then let me choose a name for you."

Regina looked at Ava, then turned to Elena, "But I want a cool name."

Elena thought and said, "How does 'Grey' sound? It matches your eye color."

Ava smiled and Regina hugged Elena, "That's a cool name."

Then Elena looked at Ava and asked, "So where are we going then?" as she saw the Houston beach villa fading behind.

Ava replied, "I will take you both to my favorite place."

After driving for 30 minutes, they arrived outside the city. Ava stopped the car near a lighthouse.

Ava got out of the car and took a deep breath, "I missed this feeling in New Jersey."

Regina and Elena also felt the fresh air in this place. Elena asked, "It's beautiful here." Regina nodded as they looked at the beautiful sunset.

Ava turned to Regina and Elena, "We have to wait for 2 or 3 hours to get the view that I want to show you."

Regina looked at the lighthouse and said, "Why is the lighthouse's light off?"

Ava replied, "This lighthouse used to be abandoned. I bought it and turned it into my library and relaxing place."

Elena looked around, "But why is no one here?"

Ava sighed, "Well, when I renovated this into my personal space, people started popping up like bubbles to take photos, even though this was private property."

Regina asked curiously, "So why is there no one here?"

Ava smiled, "Then someone," as Ava pointed at herself, "started spreading rumors that this lighthouse is haunted."

Regina started laughing, while Elena asked, "It's not haunted, right?"

Ava shook her head, "Well, the 'ghost' was me and Katie. Katie turned the lights on every night, and when people other than me got near the lighthouse, Katie started playing horror voices from movies."

Elena nodded, as she herself didn't like people disturbing her relaxing time.

Ava held Elena and Regina's hands and said, "Let's go inside."

Ava took them inside the lighthouse. Elena and Regina were surprised when they saw the library inside the lighthouse.

Regina looked at Ava, "I wasn't expecting this inside a lighthouse."

Elena looked at Ava and said, "Why is there no dust here?" considering how clean it looks.

Ava replied, "Cleaner robots clean this place twice a day, and this place works on solar panels."

Elena walked towards the shelf and picked up a book, "You have 'Great Expectations' in your library. You know it's one of my favorite books." Elena was surprised that Ava had this book, but she was even more shocked when she saw that it was a first edition signed by Alex.D.Lock.

Elena looked at Ava in surprise, "You have a first edition of 'Great Expectations' signed by the author." Meanwhile, Regina was busy inspecting the lighthouse from top to bottom.

Ava nodded, "It shouldn't be that surprising that I have this book, as I am the author of it."

Elena chuckled, "Yes, you're Alex.D.Lock, that famous mysterious author." But Elena stopped when she saw Ava's confident face.

Elena said with shock in her voice, "You're joking, right?"

Ava shook her head, "Why would I be?"

Elena grabbed Ava's shoulder, "You mean you're my favorite author."

Then Ava explained to Elena how she became Alex.D.Lock. Elena asked, "After those three books, why did you stop writing?"

Ava replied, "Well, I got busy with my scientific research."

Elena asked, "So are you going to write another book in the future?"

Ava nodded, "Yeah, on 06/08/2012, I will publish my new book on the 3-year anniversary of my books."

Elena smiled with joy, "What genre is it?"

Ava replied while smiling, "Romance."

Elena hugged and kissed Ava on the lips. As Elena realized what she had done, "Sorry, I lost a little control."

Ava smirked, "And you said I can't control myself."

Elena's face turned red. As Regina saw Elena kissing Ava, she felt a different feeling inside her.
