Explanations about the peeping.

I will start from the end.

Kenshin is blind now. At least like a normal person is.

He still can see souls, in fact his ability has multiplied now, as I will explain in the following chapters.

A blind MC is not...great. But remember that this is not a fighting fic, it doesn't matter that much. At some point in the future he will see again, so it's a temporary thing.

Now then, I didn't know how much pain writing a blind character is. I usually describe the faces the characters do, and now I won't be able to, it's in 1st person after all.

So I came up with the only thing I could. The soul works as the 'brain', sending the signals to the body. I know it's stupid and extremely twisted, but it's all I could came with. Now Kenshin can 'see' when someone raises his arm, but won't be able to see that arm, he will only know it's raised.

And same with the expressions, if I write 'I know Jean is making a sad face', it's for the same reason.

Kenshin will have new things of detecting things, like marking places with some things he can see, so he won't be a helpless guy alone in the world.

Said that, I know this can be a huge turn-off for the vast majority of people, but I won't apologize for it. I wrote this fic from start to finish, and I will keep writing what I think it's a good idea. I got a LOT of funny moments out of the blindness, so many that I think the balance is positive towards making Kenshin blind.
