The so-called intelligence room was a place that Brian and his team established specifically for surveillance purposes. They needed to conceal the capabilities of the Organization of Water, because if Jethro found out that a mercenary group possessed abilities that didn't align with typical mercenary skills, even he would be smart enough to figure out what was going on.

Jethro always knew what Yang Yi and his team were up to, but he had no idea to what extent his acquaintances in Trident could go.

In reality, only Schultz was stationed permanently in the intelligence room. While Brian spent most of his time there, he also frequently visited the lodging points of Yang Yi and Jethro. As for Hans and Paul, they hardly had any chance to return because they were constantly watching over Corkdor.
