The next morning, after finishing meditation, I went to the backyard to find that the vegetables we planted had grown lush and vibrant. In a few more days, I'll be able to pick and eat the leafy greens, and the chives against the wall are ready to eat now.
The vegetable garden in the backyard was all the handiwork of Lu Yichen and Stone, who had selected the seeds and seedlings themselves, and done all the planting and transplanting.
I used my special ability just a little to speed up their growth before cutting some chives, preparing to make buns filled with chive and egg, then make some salt and pepper crispy rolls and sugar triangles. If there's leftover dough, I'll make a few steamed buns.
The day was getting hotter now, so I couldn't make too much as it would spoil easily. However, both Lu Yichen and Stone had healthy appetites. If they ate at home three times a day, I guessed the food would only last two or three days.
