My wish

"Why is the Prince here at this hour instead of the palace?" Galen asked, his brows furrowing as he found Sullivan sprawled on the recliner. "Don't tell me Prince Sullivan had another fight with his wife," he muttered, sitting down on the wooden table in front of him.

Sullivan's jaw tightened. "I don't fight with Dahlia all the time," he responded, though the defensiveness in his voice was hard to miss.

Galen squinted, clearly unconvinced by the response. "Are you sure, Your Highness? Because I find that hard to believe. You never visit me unless something is seriously troubling you," he remarked, his tone filled with quiet suspicion.

Sullivan fell silent, closing his eyes as if to shut out the conversation. He ignored Galen's probing gaze, choosing not to indulge him further. Seeing he wouldn't get any answers, Galen sighed and stood up, leaving the room and closing the door behind him with a soft click.
