We continued forward, and at nearly the same moment a large hole, the entrance to the Blackpaw's burrow, came into view, more than a dozen dark furred lesser ferret beasts shot out like black bolts. I had to give the Monastery disciples some credit, they reacted much better than I had the first time, or even most of the rest of the times I'd gone up against the similarly speedy Lightning Marmosets in third year. Of course, given the disparity in numbers I at least covered them with regular arrows, though I only got off a few shots because I had to be careful not to accidentally disrupt their teamwork instead.
