Bluff or Not

Jules' pov

      Landon didn't look offended by my question. If anything, he looked unfazed as he lazily shrugged. 

"I guess you'd just have to take my words for it." He finally responded and I scoffed before rising to my feet. 

This is clearly a waste of time that's not gonna amount to anything tangible.

"I'm out." I called out as I headed for the door.

"Wait." He called out and I slowed to a stop. When I turned around, he was on his feet and he looked a little irritated.

"Wait, we aren't done with our conversation yet." He continued and I threw my hands in the air.

"But it looks like we are. It looks like you just summoned me here without having anything vital like you insinuated." I accused and he massaged the bridge of his nose with his fingers before flopping back onto the couch.

"I do have some vital information here." He explained and I scoffed.
