Jules' pov
My cheeks felt like it was on fire and I couldn't imagine Blaze being able to see them right now. After abruptly letting go of his arms, he had only chuckled in a way that unnerved me even more.
I was currently biting on my bottom lip while trying to think of what to say in response. I most certainly couldn't tell him the truth, about how I went to Andrian's and got the scent blockers from him.
"Uh… so, I hung out with my friends a little–" I was speaking when he cut into my sentence.
"That's how my scent disappeared from your body?" He asked and I shook my head even though he couldn't see me right now.
"Because everyone could smell you on me… someone suggested I use some scent blockers so people would stop assuming that we–" I began to explain something very similar to the truth, but I ended up trailing off at the end, feeling tongue tied while embarrassment made my face and ear flush hotly.
