"Here are the files. I looked through them three times, but let me know if there's something I missed." Elise wiggled her brows proudly, sliding the flash drive onto Fil's desk. 

Fil looked up at her and smiled. "I thought I was going to stay for the entire night here."

"Oh, come on. How can I do that to you?" Elise pouted as she grabbed her things. "I don't have the heart to make you suffer. And definitely, I'm too scared that the boss will kill me for giving you a hard time."

Fil chuckled, watching Elise arrange her desk before leaving. 

"Uhm, Elise?" she called, earning Elise's attention. "Are you going home now?"

"Uh… yes, I guess?"

"You don't have plans for tonight?"

Elise pondered while rubbing her chin. Her lips curved down, looking at Fil somberly.
