"Jace," she murmured in a voice barely above a whisper. "We shouldn't…"
"Shouldn't what?" Jace's lips brushed against her ear, his breath warm and tantalizing. "Shouldn't enjoy each other's company? Shouldn't be honest about what we both want right now?"
Grace's cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "You're impossible," she whispered.
"And you're irresistible," Jace countered as his fingers gently lifted her chin so their eyes could meet.
"Grace," Jace whispered the moment their eyes met and Grace could see the desire in his eyes. "You drive me crazy, you know that?" she heard him say.
The way he spoke her name, sent a shiver down her spine and his voice, husky with desire, wrapped around her like a warm blanket.
She had never imagined that she could have this kind of effect on him, that she could drive someone like Jace who was of such high status and always so confident, to the brink of losing control.
