Wyndelius finally lay rested in two pieces on the floor, his spectral look disappeared, making him 'visible' again.
"Why did you not use your sword?" Lydia asked confused by his decision.
"He is- I mean, was immune to bleeding damage," Darius said.
Lydia nodded, Darius looted his founding, Philter of the Phantom, and a Spell Tome, Frostbite.
+1X Philter of the Phantom
+1X Spell Tome: Frostbite
He "read" the book as he got it, learning a new spell.
Lydia searched the room, finding a satchel, another Potion of the Phantom, and a book of Wyndelius lying on the table. "My thane," She called him.
Darius stood behind her, glancing at the book while she skimmed through the pages. The book was filled with how long he had been here, and it continued to read about his descent into insanity.
"What a nuttjob," Darius stated.
Lydia laughed and turned to hand him the book, bumping into him as he was inches away from her.
Clank!!
Their armors collided, "Sorry," Lydia quickly moved back remembering something dangerous, Darius stepped forward, "I think it's time," He said in a low voice.
Her face darkened, "F-for what," She asked.
"For..." He continued to advance, "You to hand over the book," He snatched the book from her hand and started laughing looking at her scared face.
She walked toward the door of the room, leaving him, "Wait... it wasn't even that bad," He yelled from the back.
Lydia stopped, "Can we move now," Her voice was straight, "Urgh!" Darius picked up the satchel and the potion and Walked out of the room.
Their next destination was the door next to Wyndelius' room.
The air between the two was sour, "What are you even mad about," Darius said while picking the lock, Lydia stood behind him.
"You were the one cooking that fantasy in your head, not my fault," Darius explained, Lyida was shocked by his wording before she could word her thought Darius spoke, "And what do you think I go around raping women?"
A/N[Doubt]
Lydia was deep in thought, thinking over, her reaction, 'Was I in the wrong,'
A/N[Gaslighting 15 -> 100]
The door was finally unlocked, Darius pushed the door open, and the heads attached to the walls began spitting fire, surprising no one at this point.
The fire settled, revealing another door, Darius heaved a sigh and opened that one as well, as it wasn't locked.
Opening the door presented them with a hallway whose walls were covered with Nordic carvings, in the center was a pedestal mechanized door, like the one Darius found in Bleak Falls Barrow.
Darius turned around, "Let's go," He said as he moved to the Barrow's entrance, Lydia who was quite angry from before, didn't question and followed him up.
.
.
.
Darius opened the door of the Tavern, Wilhelm looked at him and sighed and so did, Lynly, "What? Did you think I'd become an addition to the Barrow?" He questioned with a smile on his face, "No, sir, I wouldn't wish that upon you, since you haven't paid for the room nor the drinks," Wilhelm said.
Darius laughed at his joke, sitting down near the counter, he brought out Wyndelius' book and handed it to Wilhelm.
A little confused, he still took the book from Darius' and began reading it, "I can't believe this,", as he flicked through the pages.
.
.
.
After reading the book, he looked down, It was all just a fabrication of this Wyndelius character? I can't believe we were so stupid,' And began to laugh.
"Well, least I can do is give you something for taking care of him. Consider it a gift." He said as he handed Darius a claw, similar in shape to the one found on Arvel.
But it was different in every other aspect, be it the metal, or the claw, which was made with Sapphire gemstones.
Darius picked up the Claw, and stored it, "Much appreciated," He stood up from the table.
And was headed out again, "You're going there again?" Wilhelm asked.
"Yeah, there's more work to be done," He said and saw Uthgerd getting out of her room.
"Oi, Let's get going," Darius invited her as well to the adventure, as she missed out on a lot.
Uthgerd nodded tiredly because she slept in the armor and was in pain.
.
.
.
Back inside the Barrow:
"You could remove my armor," Uthgerd blurted out, still half asleep, Darius looked at her for a second and turned back not in the mood for jokes as Lydia was glaring at him, "I'll do it next time," He said and continued to lead them.
"And you should wake up now," Darius as he rotated the pedestal wall mechanism, matching it in the order it was engraved on the claw.
"Yeah, yehaaaW" Uthgerd yawned.
Lydia was looking around at the walls, Carvings, done on the black stones, that made up the wall were beautiful, she tried to understand the story it was trying to portray but only got half of it.
Darius soon opened the door, and they entered.
.
.
.
Back inside Vilemyr Inn:
A red-headed woman sat on the stool, where Darius was sitting a few minutes ago, "Who is he?" She asked Wilhelm.
"I don't know much, but he's kind of an adventurer. Why do you ask, are you interested?" Wilhelm asked jokingly.
Temba furrowed her eyebrows, "But he already has two women tagging along," Wilhelm continued.
"Still, you might have a chance as he was flirting with Lynly," Wilhelm continued to add unnecessary details irritating Temba and embarrassing Lynly.
"Shut it, Old man," Temba said and walked to her room.
.
.
.
Temba was lying on her bed her heart racing, 'Why was he... so handsome," She clenched her fist, angry at her attraction to him.
.
.
.
Darius, Lydia, and Uthgerd entered the place ahead, revealing a room surrounded by tombs, in the center was a pedastal on which was sitting a book.
Oakflesh
'A trap,' Darius thought, 'No, this is an XP farm,' He thought.
Darius picked up the book. Triggering the trap, the gates were shut close on both sides.
'Now, let the fun begin'
