Possibilities

"My biological mother is…" Aaron paused for a moment, thinking about something.

Dominique was all eyes and all ears on him, waiting for his response.

'Is it Lanny or Athena?' For some unknown reason, his heart pounded with so much anticipation.

Aaron looked around before moving closer to Dominique. He whispered to him.

"Uncle Dom, I'll trust you with this secret. Don't tell this to anyone, including my grandfather."

Dominique nodded, giving him reassurance. "I swear. I won't tell this to anyone. This is just a secret between us."

Aaron smiled upon hearing that. "Okay, Uncle Dom. I believe you."

"My biological mother is Athena. But I call her Aunt because she doesn't want anyone to know about my existence, hiding our real connection. I am already used to calling her Aunt."

Dominique froze on his spot upon hearing that revelation. 'Aaron is Athena's son. But why? Why doesn't she want to acknowledge Aaron?'
