Friends who have played online games certainly understand that a team with a healer and one without are incomparably different in their endurance capabilities.
After suffering heavy losses at the hands of Heberlon, Captain Rogers' team in the Avengers was in bad shape. Any regular superhero team would have needed a good rest to recover. However, with Mindy, the dedicated healer on site, as long as there were no personal issues, no problem was too serious.
A few spells of Holy Light Healing, and everyone was fully revived.
The only exception was Mindy's Iron Suit, which seemed to be outside the reach of her Holy Light and needed to be remade.
Using one Iron Suit in exchange for valuable experience in battling a Titan-level powerhouse was, in Clark's view, a worthwhile trade. After all, an Iron Suit can be rebuilt, but the experience gained in battling a formidable foe can reduce many safety risks in future fights.
After this battle, Heberlon once again disappeared from the public eye. Clark simply instructed the Avengers to notify him directly if they encountered Heberlon again.
Currently, the Avengers, aside from Clark, were not yet capable of handling a Titan-level opponent.
This time, Heberlon seemed to have learned his lesson, or perhaps the money he had stolen from the bank robbery was enough to last him a while, so he did not cause any further trouble.
Finally, Clark could shift his focus from this troublesome guy and start participating in Hank Pym's quantum tunnel experiments.
Three days later, as promised, Clark found Scott Lang. After three days of consideration, Scott finally agreed to Clark's invitation, willing to take on the mantle of the second Ant-Man for the sake of world peace.
His only crime was financial fraud, and with Clark's current influence, getting him a pardon was a simple task.
Three minutes after Scott agreed, his pardon was already delivered to the prison, and he left for New York in Clark's Maserati.
To become a qualified Ant-Man, it wasn't enough just to wear the suit. He needed to undergo professional training to truly utilize its power.
The training of Scott Lang was assigned directly to Hope.
With both Clark and Hank busy, training the second Ant-Man naturally fell to Hope, the second Wasp.
A month later, the quantum tunnel was finally completed. With Clark's quantum entanglement with Janet, they helped Hank pinpoint the target.
Another half month passed, and Scott Lang's training ended. The second Ant-Man was officially born.
Nine days later, the energy flow in the quantum realm finally reached its most stable period theoretically, and everything was ready. Clark had even summoned all the Avengers to ensure the security of Pym Labs during this period.
All Clark wanted was to ensure absolute safety.
As Scott Lang, dressed in the Ant-Man suit, readied himself in the Ant-Man vehicle, Hank officially initiated the quantum tunnel, and the rescue mission for Aunt Pym began!
The quantum tunnel was activated, and the intense quantum energy fluctuations made Clark feel extremely uncomfortable, causing him to frown involuntarily. Mindy quickly applied a Holy Light spell to him, stabilizing the restless energy in his body.
The glow of the Holy Light also attracted the attention of others, and even Hank, who was most nervous, couldn't help but glance back.
Realizing that both Clark and Mindy were surrounded by Holy Light, the sharp Hank quickly figured out most of the truth.
Clark had a special quantum entanglement, which Hank already knew, but he hadn't realized that Mindy did too.
Seeing them resist the discomfort in various ways, Hank suggested, "Clark, Mindy, everything is going smoothly here. You better wait outside."
Nodding, Clark took Mindy out of the top floor of the lab. Only after closing the door did they feel the influence on their internal energy disappear.
After a sigh of relief, the two stopped at the lab's main door, standing like two guardian deities, anxiously as if waiting outside a delivery room.
Given the Marvel world's tendency for unexpected events during significant moments, Clark didn't dare stray too far, fearing any unforeseen issues.
Time passed slowly in the tense atmosphere. About fifteen minutes later, they heard a cheer from the lab, signaling the mission's success.
Aunt Pym, trapped in the quantum realm for over twenty years, was finally rescued!
Opening the door, the uncomfortable quantum energy fluctuations had disappeared. Every face in the room beamed with joy. Banner, Fury, and Tony, the top scientists in the Marvel world, looked at the now inactive quantum tunnel with longing.
Yet, despite their admiration, they had no intention of copying Hank's research, knowing that it wasn't their path. They needed to advance on their own paths to achieve accomplishments comparable to Hank's.
As for Hank, the creator of the quantum tunnel, he was embracing Hope and a woman Clark felt he should know but couldn't recall. The three hugged and wept together, leaving Scott, the major contributor, feeling somewhat awkward.
After patting the newly established hero, Clark said with a smile, "Congratulations on becoming the new Avenger. With your abilities, you'll be working with Hope in a team. And about the promise I made earlier, if you want, I can have the legal team at Nirvana Corporation help you regain custody of your daughter."
Shaking his head, Scott said with a sigh, "No need. It's my fault regarding my daughter, and with the Avengers facing supernatural battles, a child needs a stable home more than living with a superhero. As long as I can afford the child support, that's enough for me."
Respecting Scott's decision, Clark encouraged him with a pat on the shoulder, "As an Avenger, you'll definitely be a hero in your daughter's eyes."
Thinking of becoming his daughter's idol, Scott's face bloomed like a chrysanthemum.
Suddenly remembering something, Scott said, "My release was sudden, and my friends don't know yet. Some of them are worried about me. I'd like to take a couple of days off to see them. I won't be long, about three days, and then I'll be back. Is that okay?"
Thinking of Scott's friend, Clark immediately thought of Luis, whose chattiness outdid both Spider-Man and Deadpool.
Luis's life story was full of setbacks, yet he maintained an optimistic outlook.
In a word, carefree.
Birds of a feather flock together, and their group was capable of stirring up trouble, audacious yet reliable.
Such friends not entering the entertainment industry would be a waste!
Amused, Clark suggested, "You can ask your friends if they're interested in joining my company, especially Luis. If he hosts a talk show, he could definitely make it popular."
Eager to see his daughter and catch up with his buddies, Scott hastily agreed to inquire for Clark, then took off the Ant-Man suit, ready for his break.
"Wait a second." Clark called out to Scott, tossing him his car keys, "You should make a good impression when visiting your daughter. Borrow my car for a few days. Once you're back, you might not have much time to pamper her."
Clark, unlike Tony, didn't have enough cars for a luxury car show, owning only about six or seven, and he rarely used them.
Not particularly fond of cars, Clark preferred greener travel methods. He used teleportation for urgent matters and flew at supersonic speeds when not in a hurry.
For him, cars were mostly for appearances at certain events.
"Clark!" Long after Scott left, Hank and his family finally separated. After reuniting with his loved ones, Aunt Janet was the first to approach Clark, "Thank you for all the help you've given Hank over the years, especially that time nine years ago. I'm so grateful."
Frankly, Clark had mostly acted alone over the years, contributing little to the quantum tunnel construction. It was Hank who had been tirelessly supporting him, almost becoming his butler. Hearing Aunt Janet say this, even thick-skinned Clark felt awkward.
"Please, Aunt Janet, it was Uncle Pym who did everything to get you out. Even Fury did more than me, I really didn't..."
Janet gently stopped Clark, touching his head with a tender hand, "Because of the quantum realm's nature, your memories of your two previous entries must still be blocked, right?"
Clark nodded slightly, and Janet, gently pulling his head, made their foreheads touch.
Suddenly, a soft quantum energy flowed from Janet's head into Clark's brain.
Memories previously sealed, relating to the quantum realm, emerged.
There were three segments, each surprising and explaining many previously incomprehensible things.
From these memories, he finally understood his entanglement with Dormammu, including how he provoked such a multiversal powerhouse and how Dormammu left a mark on him, as well as...
The full course of his battle with Dormammu years ago!
