~~~Azrael Jaesyrian, Fifth Moon, 277 AC~~~
~~~Carcosa, Essos~~~

From everything I knew of Asoiaf, and what I remembered, at no time was there any mention of anything about a black flower managing to turn someone into the undead, and the only thing that could accomplish something like that was the Night King, and Qyburn, the latter being creating the Mountain monster into something decrepit and mindless, beyond that of serving Cersei.

So, would it be something caused by me? I have already made many changes in this world, and the life and course of many major people have changed, either for better or worse, even, the course of the world could be taking a completely different course than expected.

Another thing was that it could very well be something from Minecraft... And just as I came to that thought, the realization hit me, yes, that was it.

"The Wither," I said almost in a whisper, but because both Essino and Valka were close to me, they managed to hear me, "what does a... wither have to do with it?" Essino asked, confused about what was going on, "of course," I said, realizing that he didn't know about the creature. "You haven't met a Wither. It's a beast that helped us in battle."

Essino's face lit up, understanding a little now, "he produced the strange sinister sound?" Essino asked, taking me by surprise, "What sound?"

"Hours ago there was a terrible sound, like the wailing of people being killed, only the sound was as if those people were dying next to me, everyone heard it, and we didn't know where it came from or what it was," Essino explained that while I understood that the characteristic noise was produced in the game every time a Wither was summoned, I just didn't think it happened here as well.

In that case, my guess made more sense, what was it? Well, the trail of death left by a Wither, and it was that every time it attacked someone with its cadaver explosions, it would release withered roses, which had the effect of a mediating attack similar to the attack of the skeletons and the Wither, with the rose being the only one capable of hurting certain dark creatures.

But now, it seemed that this rose held sinister mysteries beneath its peculiar appearance, and with conviction, I pulled a wilted rose from the menu and showed it to Essino, "Is this the rose?" I asked as I held up the rose, noting the peculiarity that I was unaffected.

"Yes!" Essino confirmed, pulling away a bit from the rose in my hand with resentment clearly showing on his face. "That was the rose that provoked the attack."

"That's the Wither Rose, it's known to be produced by Wither attacks, but I thought they were just stories, since one had never been seen since the Dark Era, not until you summoned one," Valka commented, approaching the rose and looking at it.

Looking at me intently, Valka expounded on what I was also thinking. "If this rose has the power to cause someone to become a zombie, then forces must be sent to contain all these threats, we cannot allow another event like this to happen again."

"Yes, it will be done," I said, thoughtful about everything that had happened in a short time, first I had been in the Nether, talked to Amanda again after two years, and then I woke up, and it turned out I had lost several memories, proposed to Valka, and now it turns out that the Wither Rose is capable of creating zombies.

All of this had taken its toll on my mind, starting to cause a slight headache. "I'll send the Enderman to sweep the grounds, look for the roses, and either pick them up or destroy them, there must be several, and the winds from the storm could have caused them to spread a long distance, so we need to act fast," I commented, ready to take this event seriously.

"You may return Essino," I said to my Blood Rider, who nodded "Valka and I will return soon, first we will finish our business here and then head to Xandar, I have things to do there, so we will see you in a matter of a few days."

Once Essino left again to meet his wyvern and return to his work, I was left alone with Valka again, unable to stay silent any longer, "Valka, do you know anything about the Nether?" I asked him, noticing how her face distorted a little, "The Nether? Well... It's a very dangerous dimension, being surpassed only by the End, and that's because of the Ender dragon, I only know that it's a dimension accessed with a portal and that it contains very dangerous creatures, plus it's very dangerous to travel there since you won't be able to get out once you enter."

"What if I told you I was there?" I said, noticing how he was surprised, then giving way to understanding, "Well, considering all the wonders you've done, this new thing wouldn't surprise me."

And there was the Valka I knew, that woman who possessed an enormous level of understanding, but who knew how to look at the clues at every moment, place, and occasion. She, not only was powerful in her training as a witch, she was also an expert in creating potions with surprising speed and agility, but what stood out the most, was that she knew how to understand the signs shown.

So she wasn't too surprised to learn that I had been to the Nether, and sure, I could be lying, but she knew me too well to understand that I had no reason for that. "I woke up in a room, much like this one," I told her, pointing to the room behind us. "The room was in a tall tower, in the middle of the Nether."

"Not only that, but I ran into... Amanda." Valka looked at me in confusion, the pupils of her eyes twitching, indicating that she was searching her memories for something to explain what that might mean. It amazed me again how well we knew each other.

"But she's been dead for two years, her body was lost, we were both there when that happened," Valka began to say, looking thoughtful, as she drummed her fingers on the stone wall that served as a railing.

"Yes, I know, I still remember it completely, but I know what I saw, it wasn't a dream, I was there, with her, not only that, I also met Dothraki warriors, from the Imperishable Horde, they were saying they had died fighting in a battle against the Jhogos Nhai, I don't think it was a hallucination."

"I'll tell you again, talk to Micaela, she should know about whatever you witnessed while you were unconscious, she should be able to give you answers, if what you saw is real, there is a way to confirm it." She said, unable to finish due to me interrupting her... "By making a portal and going to the Nether personally," I said, noticing how her face turned neutral, yes, I didn't like the idea of going to the Nether either, not after knowing about Herobrine and Notch, and that they might have access to those dimensions.

They might as well access this world through an open portal and present a huge problem for everything I've built, and only the supreme creator would know that I was capable of fighting the entire world just to prevent that.

"Very well, that will be something to do later, in the safety of Ischyros, but now, it is necessary to have what we came for in the first place, I will not leave without that, I promised you, and I intend to keep it," I told her, noticing how her face showed a genuine and beautiful smile, with Valka coming closer and planting a kiss on my lips.

"You know what, whatever the outcome may be, you owe me nothing, nor my sisters, you gave us another chance at life, one that we are making the most of, many of my sisters can now be outdoors, even in the daytime, without being under attack, years ago I felt the rays of the sun, with only the dark of night and the moonlight being my companions. Azrael, you have given us what this took from us in the first place, our freedom, we are more indebted to you, than you can ever manage to think."

Smiling at her, I took her hand, placing a kiss on her knuckles, "well then look upon this as a means of payment for your services to the Xandarian crown," I said, then began walking towards where I assumed was the path to the great hall, ready to speak to Menrico about my payment.

"Where are we going?" Valka suddenly asked, causing me to snap out of my thoughts and look at Valka, who had a confused look on her face, "To speak with Menrico," I said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"But that's not the address," she told me, a smirk about to leave her lips. "Oh," I said, turning around and starting to walk back the way we had come, "that's not the way either," Valka said again, then took my arm and guided me like a small child.
