When the prosecutor was finally finished with her address, the judge cleared his throat and spoke up.

"I have listened to both sides, and I can say with certainty that this crime deserves nothing less than suitable punishment. It is… disgusting to have to witness such an act in my lifetime, and for it to have been done by a member of the government is even more deplorable. Ryan, I cannot begin to fathom the twisted nature of your soul that would allow you to perform such acts on the citizens that you swore to protect with your life. The panel of judges will convene and give their verdict, after which I will pass judgment.
