Chapter 2 - Sparring Match

Mikey was 16 years old, now a young man. He was no longer the short, weak boy he was all of those years ago. No. He was much taller, albeit still weak. That was his perceivable problem, Mikey had spent 6 years training none-stop in the Dojo Dee had brought him to no perceivable results. He had been able to strengthen his body, but he still was no closer to his goal of using Zantetsu.

In front of Michalengelo stood a Young man, with short and spiky black hair, who was roughly the same age as himself. His name was "Donatello" and he was someone who hated being in the mere presence of Mikey, and today, Donatello was Mikey's Sparring partner. Mikey and Donny had known each other for over a year, and originally they were the closet thing to best friends. Two peas In a pod, inseparable from one another. But, Sometime in the past year Donatello had changed as a person, leaving his friendship with Michalengelo to sour. And today this boy, who was once Mikey's close friend, looked at him pure and utter disdain.

"Ughh! Why the Hell did Xu-Sensei put me against you!?" Donatello snapped at Mikey his voice laced with Malice. Mikey looked at Donatello, noting that his fists were clenched so tightly, they began to turn white.

"I hope the two of you remember the rules" Said Xu-Sensei entering the room, followed by a small crowd of students wearing Martial Arts Gi with various coloured belts. Xu-Sensei was known as the Strongest Man is the Zantetsu World but in this Dojo was known as Master. "Oh! Xu-Sensei you're here already!" Said Donatello quickly turning his head to bow, with Mikey quickly following to perform the same action. "The both of you stand in your corners, and ready yourself. On my word your match will begin" Said Xu-Sensei as the two boys walked to opposite sides of the matt.

[Donatello's Pov]

Donatello looked at Michalengelo dismissively, he already knew that he was a shoe-in to win the fight, but he didn't understand why Xu-Sensei would sanction this match. Michalengelo was a weakling, and he was nothing short of a Prodigy, so WHY was he being made to fight him. Was it to help Mikey grow stronger? Help him learn to show kindness to others?. "Gross" Donatello said in his head, disgusted at the thought of showing kindness to Mikey.

Whatever the reason was for this fight didn't matter now, what did matter was how to cause Mikey the most amount of pain.

He got and into a fighting position, reading himself for the onslaught of punches and kicks to come.
