"So, the manifestation of this particular trait takes the form of a psychologist, existing as a doctor both in reality and the psychic battlefield."
Moon God Kong Su is a rather good confidant. As an ancient Demon God, he cannot understand the human's so-called psychology or psychoanalysis method. Even if he did understand, he wouldn't spread it. Thus, Shiller explained his mental state in detail, which only a fellow practitioner would have the patience to listen to.
"What about you in this room?" Kong Su asked, "What do you represent? Why do you feel he is the strongest?"
"He represents the violent trait within my personality." Shiller's answer was not out of Kong Su's expectation, as it follows the conventional logic that if one were to identify a trait with the most aggressiveness and battle strength within any personality, it has to be one's violent trait.
"Then why don't you open the door?"
Shiller did not directly answer this question. Instead, he looked up and around the corridor, saying, "Certain aspects of my personality are extremely dangerous, such as violence, insanity, indifference, morbidity, etc..."
"These traits reside in their unique buildings, which are often fragments of my past memories. For instance, the violent trait resides in this insane asylum..."
"So, you used to live in this insane asylum?" asked Kong Su.
Shiller nodded, as if recalling something. However, he did not explain but continued, "To enter the buildings where they reside, you need special keys. These are controlled by the 'Superego'. If the Superego, representing the social rules and morality, doesn't provide the keys, these traits cannot surface."
"In layman's terms, when people resort to violence or fall into madness, they are restricted by societal rules and morals in their thought process. As soon as they think of these aspects, they begin to hesitate, and the violent or mad elements within their personalities are temporarily suppressed."
At that moment, a series of hurried footsteps came from the end of the corridor they were walking through. A small figure ran over. Kong Su saw it was a younger version of Shiller, clutching some grey unidentified object.
Shiller said, "The key is here."
The young Shiller ran up to the door, halted, turned around, and handed over a key to Shiller.
Moon God Kong Su asked, "Is he also a representation of a part of your personality? What does he stand for?"
"He is the id, representing my instinct."
Kong Su bent down, patting the young Shiller's head. As the young Shiller gazed up at him, he seemed to demonstrate no fear. Kong Su asked him, "What are you holding?"
The young Shiller looked down at the slime he was hugging, he pursed his lips and shook his head. Kong Su straightened up and turned to Shiller, asking, "Why is your instinct unable to speak?"
As Shiller turned the key to unlock the door, he responded: "Remember what I just said? All traits are born from certain experiences in my life..."
"The content of this experience determines the appearance and characteristics of the trait..."
As he said these words, Shiller pushed the door open, looked back at the young Shiller running into the distance still holding the grey slime. Something came to his mind, forcing him to look back into the room.
The figure in the room was wearing a straitjacket, his body wrapped in several iron chains. The ends of the chains were fixed to the walls and ceiling. A metal protective shield covered his mouth.
The only part of his body not wrapped in the straitjacket was his face, sharing the same countenance as Shiller. Yet, Kong Su noticed this figure looked much younger than Shiller, merely a teenager.
